Nice numbers. Cost seems a bit high. Isn’t the blower about 5k? I thought it was about a 12hr install?

The first post says "borla". I don't know what part of the exhaust system that references. Seems to be a man of few words.

I have a 16Z, m7. With kooks, AFE, 15% pulley, expansion tank and tuned made 631/690 on 91 octane. Next week my 2300 go on . I will drop from the 15% to my 5% pulley to start. Hope to make somewhere in the 680rwhp/700rwtq on 91 octane.

In 2009 I had a stroke. I was a service director for many years at Axlerod Pontiac in Ohio. It has taken many years to recover. But I never lost my ability to drive or the knowledge of cars. I retired and moved to Florida. Yes, I'm a man of few words. And at times, typing can be difficult. So, Thank You ....and what I always say to myself, WHO CARES!

Thanks for the results many are interested in the 2300 threads. I wouldn't worry about the normal comments from the peanut section. Those are good numbers for on pump gas and no headers.
Very nice!

The DIY saving's using a forum vendor for parts is a lot!

Agreed. I may have to do the swap myself since I don’t believe a lift is needed. That’s a lot of money for what seems to be a simple swap.

OK. if the guy doesn't put the price up that he paid would you be commenting on the mods or whining he didn't post the price?

Move on please. you guys crack me (and countless others) up...

Love the 2300 mod. my buddy runs 9.7s on pump gas full weight at 140 just that, a pulley, and LT's. Car runs cooler, much quicker than mine (walks me above 60). and CAN be tuned.. unlike the ZR which is and will remain capped for years to come.

Enjoy OP - PS, my father had a hemorrhagic stroke 4 years ago. full recovery thank god. should've been dead.. miracle Tampa Hospital Surgeon's saved him. be well.

I don’t believe anyone is giving the guy crap for paying to have it done. 14hrs to do the job is reasonable. The $3500 for install and tuning seems to be excessive. Even if the tune were 1k that’s still $2500 for 14 hrs of labor. That’s extremely high to me from my experience. I believe he’s getting great numbers and I hope to be close to those when I’m able to get it done.

Gotta love it! Even less $$ if you shop! Strong power hate to say but 800 hp so more than a ZR1 in a lighter weight car the 2300 removes 5 pound of the engine and runs cooler.
Will be 1 fast machine! The 2300 can make up to about 940 hp.
