Hertz Renting the Z06 Maybe Not the Best Idea

I am going to Spring Mountain for the second time at the end of this month and looked into renting one in Vegas to get to Pahrump -but they are pricy. I booked something else, but am going to see if they have any Z06 rentals available and see if I can get a better price when I'm there -if it's meant to be I'll get one, if not no problem

Lot of posters here assume an owner of a Z have a better driving skill set then a renter?!
Come on just look at some of the oops posts in this section from owners!

yep. These cars can be tricky. Certainly don’t want to be on the list of oops ‘s. Or near a hertz rental z06 with a less then informed driver at the wheel

The SLOW Z06 bone stock pulls my buddy's 2015 F12 and our other friend's TUNED Huracan. From every speed you can imagine.
Sell your car or start putting your foot all the way down. What a joke.
Ps. Those two guys with the 300k cars are ready to throw them off a cliff. The one guy had his huracan tuned because he couldn't beat my car... still can't. And I have my stage III aero on (center wicker in lower position)
F12 is tuned as well. What do they trap? 133? My car pulls him from 40 50 60 70 all the way well beyond that trap speed. You have either a broken beat down junk box Z06 or you cannot drive.
the cyber gray ZR1 (stock) which ran with us could not keep up... internet folk law ALL C7 Z06s DO NOT RUN HARD UP TOP.. mine does. And so do many others. Probably because we can drive our cars.

I agree, this is just a horrible idea. I rented one in Los Angeles 2 weeks ago and now I own one
It was $170 for the day but with taxes and extra insurance, etc came out to about $300.
