Z07 ceramic brake life - burnished or unburnished?
If not tracking the car, will burnishing the carbon ceramic rotors/brakes impact the life of the brakes? More or less life?

I track mine but after installing many sets of pads I don't think burnishing is really needed on the street. I never have done it in 3 years. I street my car for hundreds of miles on new pads before taking it to the track and never an issue with the brakes. Usually my first couple of laps at the track burnish them well and then I get my peddle back. I will guess a set of pads on the street will go 30k and rotors 100k! Great brakes.....

If you don’t track it u don’t need to burnish! They will last 50,000-60,000 miles normal driving! Rotors 100,000 miles easy!
