I heard break in was 1500 miles..... Have not checked this. Styling of the car - Awesome. Seating/Steering/ Pedal/Shifter set up is perfect for me. Throttle response is sluggish and unpredictable? Shifter is ok but not great. Getting in and out of 5/6/7 is interesting and I missed the 7/6 shift a few times as well as 4/5. Cant tell about the suspension yet on street driving. Feels good but will not know until it gets on the track. Brakes feel awesome. Steering feels good but have not run much in track mode yet, that seems to tighten up a bit. I will be interested to give this a good try. There are some rattles...... One from the shifter/trans tunnel. Seems to be tied to rpms? Another near the drivers rear bumper. This may be something loose from after market exhaust install heat shield or something. Look forward to getting it up on a rack and finding out. The car feels very fast and like an absolute beast. Cant wait to get some more time behind the wheel. Any thoughts on shifter/throttle response and that whine or rattle from the tunnel would be appreciated. Thanks
I can't comment on the rattle. I don't have that on mine. Maybe take it to the nearest dealer so they can take a look? Lots of weird quirks are found on our cars from factory, even in showroom new condition.

As far as throttle response. Definitely look into a ported throttle body. I bought a katech one last summer. IMMEDIATE difference and improvement upon the first drive after installing it. IT should have came like this from the factory. The factory throttle body is trash. Makes you feel like you can't drive a manual.

Ported tb and BMS filter corrected the throttle issues on my car.

Great thanks. Shifting much better today after adjusting the MGW shifter correctly.

Do you know if these Z07 differences are the same on the Z07 GS?

Rune. It sounds very healthy at WOT. Awesome. No drone or issues. Best exhaust Ive had.

Not a blower. Just a different supercharger cover. Ive taken that off and put the stock one back on. It came on the car and was from Nitrous Express.

Regarding overheating...... I got a 16, 3 summers at the tracks, some 90 to 95 degree days and it only overheated once.

Hammer it and don’t worry.

VIN #21, 2019 Z06, M7, no track, no overheating, plenty of fun. It’s a great car. Our 21st Corvette since 1976.

I do not remember hearing it. I took the NX lid off because I was concerned about warranty issues. It came on my car. I may put it back on when warranty is gone. Looked cool.

GS Z07 does not come with the stiffer front springs, but comes with front sway bar that is stiffer than Z06/7 as far as I know. This was actually one of the main reasons for me to pick Z06/7 over GS Z07 (I love stiffer suspension setups since they react better to higher traction tires).

Bought my 2019 Admiral Blue z06, LT2, M7 in July. Temps run around 220 in normal traffic driving around San Antonio. How are you defining over heating? I find 220 to be pretty hot. I have waited till now to consider tracking it. The super charger runs hot.

Someone asked if you can hear the super charger whine. YES, turn the radio off, and listen when hitting about 2500 RPM

I think hitting 220 is pretty typical for using the car in traffic, and it's dictated by the fan settings as well as the thermostat, etc.

G-Speed and LG Motorsports as well as probably a few others make an upgraded cooling package/bumper/oil coolers if you really want to not worry about overheating.... I've read that this is pretty much the main differences from a Z06 to a ZR1 aside from bigger supercharger. A robust cooling system....

The C7 Z06 on the used market seems like such a good value.... especially the ones around $60K! It has crossed my mind to pick one up next year as prices should drop even more once the C8 hits the market.....

Don't be fooled my M7 overheated 5-5 times at track.
