This is a second for CPR in Tempe. Joe has done and amazing job explaining his work and plans along the way. NicD who works the ECU tuning is a Corvette owner as well. Check out their YouTube channel for some insight to their shop. He won't steer you wrong with anything. Last week needed some quick help finding a part he installed for my meth kit. I was half the country away and he was available and immediately helped. He has a team of mechanics that love what they do. In house fabrication of many things for the GM cars not just Corvettes. Plus when he is done he makes you part of his club, LOL. Little "branding" on your car. Street gang I guess.

I know the afe and halltech are designed around a stock zo6 butI wonder why the afe fits perfect and the halltech is off by so much??? I have only seen 3zo6 pics and my own. if you are seeing this 3zo6 are you concerned about pulling hot air from that big gap between fenderwell and airbox? I know it gets pretty toasty under the hoods of these cars?

The car runs very hard like it sits. But I have thought about doing the length add on to the Halltech like you did.
My other car will be the same way so I need to figure out what to do if anything. Just getting the A8 ready to go up on the stands for headers and then back down for the 2300 then EASY drive (no boost) to the tuner.

regarding the intake, I was going to just use a rubber coupler but the problem was the halltech tube is on a angle and though the coupler will move it closer to pass side it also moves it towards the front of the car away from the tb coupler. that is why I used the corrugated rubber part of the stock airbox to help with curve. seemed to be the perfect fix.

I believe Katech uses Halltech intakes on their 2300 builds and they never look wonky.
I wondering if the offset is in the snout not the intake tube?
Maybe the Katech snout differs from the Magnuson snout by some small degree of angle?

Mine has the Maguson snout with the ZR1 95 mm shown above and it is left a little of where the stock 1.7 tb sits.

I’m seriously considering doing the swap. One thing I would like to know from those that have done it is how does it affect your gas mileage and drive ability around town? I drive mine on several short trips (300-500 miles) and do enjoy the 23-24 mpg out on the highway

I have the katech 103 billet snout, so its not that.

Have you been driving it? Hard to let it set everyday I fire it up for a cruise everyday. The dyno really shows it is strong but not the whole story. At highway speed it pulls in 6th like it used to in 4th.
Really scary fast in the lower gears. 2300 Heartbeat is a fantastic blower for the Z06.

Don't forget our own RDP they give a nice discount! Been reading on the 2300 like all blowers they work best in the best range on the compressor maps.
It is most coolest charge. Fantastic with the 3 mods. Plus get the Mighty mouse PCV fix and catch can. 1. ARH 2 inch coated great deal at RDP too!
Halltech or AFE
2. then the 2300,
3 then I love the 95MM ZR1 TB Firm 700 rwhp on pump gas. Drops weight from your Z06 by 50 pounds. Even the 2300 saves weight.
Looking to paste A ZR1 or Demon on a HWY roll or 1/4 with My A8 ready for either.

If you install the 2300 blower on your ZO6, do you have to make any hood modifications??? Also I read where one can install there self, What about long tube headers? are they difficult on these cars?
