A "rotary forged" wheel is simply a cast wheel that has had the barrel spun out, flow form or marketed up as "rotary forged" or "spun forged". The raw material forging cost (from APP) approaches the final retail price of most offshore "rotary forged wheels". That should tell you all you need to know. There's a reason Boeing and Lockheed buy aerospace forgings from APP and not from a place in Asia. They may be slightly more robust than the C7 OEM wheels, but a properly engineered traditionally forged wheel is magnitudes of order stronger than any flow form wheel. I would not include any offshore wheel suppliers in any conversation talking about track appropriate wheels (BBS Motorsport, Finspeed, Forgeline, etc).
