Default Great erxperience with Signature Wheel

Last Saturday night I was thinking about adding another set of 18” track wheels to have a spare set of slicks. I sent a text to Khoa of Deity Motorsports and Signature Wheel not really expecting an immediate response since it was Saturday night and wheel vendors have a life too. Well, he did respond immediately and answered a few questions. I let him have his night back to focus on his fiancé and told him I would call on Sunday.

I called Khoa Sunday afternoon and ordered a set of 18” SV501’s with knurled bead area in gloss black. He happened to have a set available in their Taiwan factory. (Signature Wheels are designed and tested in the United States and cut in Taiwan.) My wheels arrived in Charlotte, NC by UPS on Friday morning. A set of Pirelli scrubs arrived Friday afternoon and I had them mounted on Saturday.

This makes my third set of wheels from Signature. I ordered my first set of 18” SV103’s, the predecessor of the SV501, in November of 2016 just as Khoa started advertising Signature Wheel on Corvette Forum. This set was not in stock and had to be cut. Imagine my surprise when they arrived 24 days later – from Taiwan. I also bought a set of stock size SV101’s that Khoa had used for a photo shoot. I ran Michelin Cup2’s on those until the track had eaten several sets. Now that I have the second set of 18’s, Michelin Pilot Super Sports are on the SV101’s for street and wet track use. The stock Z06 wheels are in storage. The Signature wheels have exceeded my expectations for street and track use.

I guess you can tell that I’m a Signature Wheel fan, but more than that, I’m a Khoa Nguyen fan. Through the purchase of 3 sets of wheels, Khoa has been responsive, addressed all my questions (engineers have lots of questions), has provided fair pricing and delivered the products in record time. If you are considering aftermarket wheels for street or track use, check out Signature Wheel and Khoa Nguyen. You can find Khoa here on the forum, at domestic@signaturewheel.com or at 562-413-5593. You are welcome to PM me if you have any questions about my Signature Wheel experience.

18" SV501

Plenty of clearance for the large AP Racing brake caliper.
Even clears the wheel weights (covered in foil tape).

Ready for TrackDaze HPDE at VIR on Nov. 1 & 2

I have to also pay Signature a big thumbs up. I ordered a set of SV 502s in OEM sizes for my ‘18 AMG GT R. They arrived in 21 days from Taiwan and are a fantastic wheel. Strong; light weight; great looking, and for a fully forged wheel a great price.
Highly recommended!

Not with my experience, I bought wheels of Khoa and the next day all the rims cracked sitting in the garage

LOL kidding, Khoa is awesome and I agree his customer service is exceptional. Couldn't find a nicer, honest guy to talk to and the Signature wheels are very well constructed. For my next set of rims it will def be from Khoa!

Thank you Eric for the kind words. Best service and quality are important to me. I’m glad to have countless repeat purchases like you on this forum. No need to trash talk a competitor to get sales, I let my products speak. Fellow Vette owner and car nut, all I really want is to contribute to this community.

I can’t wait to hear your feedbacks from the Pirelli vs Hoosier.

I used the new SV501s fitted with Pirelli slicks at VIR in early November. Performance was just as expected. I’m really pleased with the new Signature 18s. Thanks again to Khoa for helping me with this set. My wallet appreciates him too!

More likely to be your frame mounted wing. My wife would not understand any more wheels/tires.

Same story for me. I bought 2 sets and have been VERY satisfied. I bought a set of 18's for track use with slicks and a set of 19/20 for street running MPSS. My OEM wheels are in storage for when I sell the car.

OUTSTANDING service from Khoa, GREAT quality and excellent pricing. Best deal on quality wheels to be had.

Thanks Eric. Great to hear about such great products and service. I've been thinking about a light weight drag pack for my Z.

I can certainly take care of that for you.

18x8 18x12 are what my Vette guys are running for straight line. 225 front tires are skinny enough while still grippy enough for the turns.
