also satisfies my desire for a black car without the hassle of black.

If if you don’t track the car get a street alignment at 500 mile oil change, make sure the dealer purges and fills the intercooler tank and put powerstop z26 pads on if you don’t track the car. 130 bucks on rock auto easy install — no dust and wheels stay spotless and for the street they work just as good as the factory issue.

Hello everyone, here is my new Z06... thanks for everyone responding and your input in my decision. Love the car, and haapy I went for a base Z06 verse a GS with options....total upgrade from my 2008 Z06, with one exception, road noise is the same, was hoping for a little less road noice....Clear bra on fornt nad some very light tint going on the car in the morning...rock on!

Can I ask a question? Is there anything on the ZO6 1LZ that is NOT on a stingray/GS 1LZ?
I hate to be such a bitch about it, but I HAVE to have BOSE, I know people will tell me to just get a 1LZ and upgrade, but I hate doing any kind of interior mods like that. I bought a year old Porsche and had a stereo "installed" by the "best guys in town" and they marred up the interior and was just never right after that. I dread the thought of having some one digging into the door panels, dash etc... to upgrade speakers, stereo on a brand new car and I am fine with the Bose system. I am the only driver, my son might drive it once in awhile but infrequently at best, so don't need memory seats or NAV etc.. Just want to haul *** and Good to great tunes//// I am just really over the top or.....????

I had the 10speaker Bose that comes with the higher trim level in a same year C7 and honestly it doesnt make a big difference. My friend who is an exec for a major Hifi equipment brand says for our sports cars it’s just loudness without distortion that matters, meaning unless you upgrade to better Amps or higher sensitivity high/midrange speakers it doesn’t matter...I see guys putting subwoofers in the back but it’s the tweeter mid woofer and accompanying amps that matter. All of course because we’re stuck with the head unit.

Dam.... just dropped of my new vette to get a clear bra on front bumper,mirrors... and tint all around including front window.....way more expensive then I thought... $1,500 for top of th eline tint with life time warranty .............ouch!

Here's my experience with owning 2 wide bodied Vettes. Try to find a way to at least get the lower potions of the sides,from the emblem down behind the front wheels, the lower part of the door,the A pillars,rocker extensions, and rear brake duct area from the fuel door down. Those areas are prone to Major sand blasting from everyday road debris. As well as the engine cover.
