I been preaching about that brick wall lol.
Great video though. Awesome editing. Wish it was longer though. But i actually expected this. Those german power sedans are highway missiles. They're meant for the autobahn. I'm not even surprised it did that well.
But someone suggests to just leave it in D for you A8 guys, as it might turn better times. Using the paddles to an unresponsive or delayed effect won't yield good results lol.

Very cool video. Starting at 60 in an A8 is an awkward spot. Really too fast for 2nd and too slow for 3rd. Have you ever tried starting in M during a roll and then quickly shifting to D after the initial start, allowing the auto to take over? I’ve had best results that way just letting the auto take control.

Do you have the stage 3 bridge on the rear? I couldn't tell. If so, that's why you lost so much ground up to. Happens to every c7 running stage 3 aero. Even the stage 2 is hugely detrimental above 100 mph or so. A stage 1 z06 will put at least a car on an identical stage 3 z06.
Also, he probably has multiple maps and turned up the boost 2nd run.

Got rid of one of these for my Z06. They do mod pretty easy and the DCT is light years ahead of the auto in the C7. Had Chevy put one in the Z it would be a tough choice.

But the ZR1 with a DCT? Forget about it. It might go down as the greatest corvette of all time. But too late now.
At least there's hope again with the C8.

meh.
Define "fbo". downpipes and piggy?
or downpipes, flash tune? big difference.
Ran an m4 from a 40 the other day at the track, gave him the gap. He accused me of not being stock. He said he was, and that was a flat out lie. I actually have it on gp video. Loser
just watched the beginning of the video, 600 whp m3 he is definitely running a flash tune and alternative fueling. thats a far cry for "fbo" imo
Tell him put run the pump tune from 40 and see what happens.

Not good for roll racing.

The next time I race I will definitely do the M to D trick.

Those are just stick on extensions. Any paddle extensions for a Camaro will work. We share the same paddles.

I’ve got an m7 zo6 x pipe/ halltech, as well as a bone stock m4 dct. First, at any speed, any gear, except the z in 7th, it’s no contest. Not close. We’ve dynoed the m4, it’s 379 at the wheels on a mustang dyno. Figure a stock zo6 even a crappy build, crappy gas is pushing 500 plus to the wheels. So for that m3 , given that the reported curb weights are within what, 100lbs, to stay with you or get ahead, you either got snookered by the driver or by the mods... to bust you like that he’d have to be making same as you at the wheels, plus maybe even. I’m not sure that fbo gets close. A stage 3 Dinan package advertises 548 hp at the crank(?). The z should have the m by near 100hp still. I’m sure people realize what an extra 100hp looks like at any speed. For comparison, Indy car “push to pass” added 20 hp....
something stinks in this video, but great production values,

My last car was an F30 335i and was making 550 rwhp. But that was a stage 2 turbo, port injection, stage 2 lpfp, downpipes, larger fmic, e85, and more.

That M3 can make 500 rwhp or more easily with FBO. Down pipes, e85, and a tune already put the car at 500+ rwhp.

Banned Scam/Spammer
Why does anyone spend crazy money, trash a factory warranty, and go through all the BS it takes to tune and modify one of those pip squeak BMW motors when you can just go out and buy a Z06 with a real motor and go bananas with a full driveline warranty intact. What am I missing?
