See if you can fathom that... for the first time ever...

For the love of f***ing god.
Why did I dyno with 673 rwhp ewhich equals almost 800hp which is more than the ZR1. Plus I have the Halltech TRIC cramming air in. I can run in any weather I crossed Wyoming at 20 degree's doing 85-90
October 13 2018 no issues.
NOT THE FUEL PUMP! THE ZR1 was the reason for the new pump not the Z06. The stock tune is the reason no one with a tune has the issue. Even guys with 750 plus rear wheel.

Im well aware you would not try to get within 50mph of that, because then you would be on the other side of the line in this debate... especially someone as scared as you are of speed... having your throttle cut unexpectedly at 158mph, whether in a straight line or in a curve... is not safe, especially if the driver is easily spooked and panics.

I know odds of you ever pulling a curve at 1 lateral G at any speed over 100mph, are are about as good of odds as you minding your own business, and commenting only in threads that pertain to you and your driving style, while on this forum.

you are a person who has zero clue on the subject, telling those who are experts on the subject, that they are wrong.

And you never stop.

Yes, eventually enough is enough.

You are a trouble maker beyond words.

You do nothing positive for this thread.

They SHOULD ban you.

they should ban you at least from this thread at minimum. You are a negative number here.

in other words, you are assuming that the rest of us have not spent money here...

and you feel that since you have spent money, it should excuse/elevate you into having a get out of jail free card to provoke and cause as many problems on this forum, as you see fit, without any negative consequence...

is that what you want us all to understand?

after the class action starts and a documentary is released by a former member of this forum who was the one who discovered this problem which can lead to the death of corvette operators... (he went to film school and already has 90% of the documentary done, and is just waiting on his and my and several other peoples lemon laws to finalize so he has the ending to this story)

Are you going to be proud when cameras are in your face, and proud to defend that you think a problem than can kill people is less important than you always getting in the last word and proving you are right and everyone else is wrong... (im giving you a hint, you will be in it... you insisted... being in it... haven't you my intelligent man?)

and are you going to brag about your corvette forum money donations and how much you spend with vendors, and defend that is why you believe the problem with these vehicles should not be resolved, and anyone who drives their vette at over 120mph's LIFE does not matter? (the limp mode has been documented at speeds as low as 120mph, and as high as 175mph, fyi)

And are you going to defend that the money you donate and spend is why you have the right to get members, who DO know what they are talking about... BANNED from helping the community bring an end to a problem that can kill drivers of these cars?

Get your answers ready now... after all... they are all being documented Bob.

Get ready to tell that to the person's wife of the person who loses control of their car, while checking if it goes into limp mode, and that limp mode that DOES occur, causes them to get spooked and lose control and lose their life.

Ill make sure we get a camera on you with a microphone and you can tell her how great a car is that cuts 100% of power in a nano second while at 120 to 176 mph. You can debate her all night like you do me. I think GM SHOULD HIRE YOU AS THEIR PR GUY!!!!!!

and you got them banned while they were troubleshooting and discussing this exact topic... a topic about a problem with vehicles which can total cars and kill people. Aren't you so helpful? That sure is a good thing to throw a wrench in the middle of isn't it super helpful man?

Not quite sure what you're trying to get at. Lots of people here have had numerous Corvettes (and other fast vehicles), and purchased parts from forum vendors. What does that have to do with the topic?

Do you think that driving 85-90 mph was really working the car? Do you think this was as much of a high-fuel-demand situation as sustained driving at 150+ mph?

I have a hunch he is done responding here. Let him go.

Normal people out there, if you have any questions, the s*** show is over, lets get back on topic, I'm here to help.

And i am being genuine when I say, the last thing we want to have happen is for everyone to run out in the cold and test this and someone ends up wrecking their car and getting seriously hurt or killed.

It is freaky as hell when it happens, no matter how ready you think you are for it, you might not be... its the most severe weight swap possible because you go from full WOT acceleration to the engine being cut, and your back wheels go into drag. It is dangerous.

Race tracks usually aren't open at night when its cold enough, and not everyone can get to 150 on their track's distance... so this leads people to try this stuff on the street. Don't do it... just chill and let us play hard ball with GM this month, we have several lemon cases all hitting them at once, and since Irun discovered this and has the most failures under his belt, he is going to do the honors, his lemon case was re-activated last week, as he dropped it this past spring to get more failures under his belt, and i followed suit because I trust his judgement.

I'll stay out of this since this has went off in deep deep deep water .
But will say GM includes the ZR1 pump in the Z06/ ZR1 only because it was required on the ZR1 and they carry the same gas tank and pump they would not have that bigger pump if not for the ZR1.
If it were an issue it would have showed earlier like 17-18.

anyone with any common sense knows limp modes at 158mph are deep deep water... they can take peoples lives.

But not everyone has that common sense unfortunately, and those people think their ego is more important than the solution to the actual problem.

They have no shame to derail people who obviously have experience with the topic.... as they know they themselves have zero experience with a topic.

But yet they still talk... and talk.. and talk.

Not going to pushed out of any thread by juvenile behavior and angry comments and now threats. Take your axe to grind with GM and anyone who disagree's somewhere else.
The op shouldn't be hawked to lemon his car. He should just go to the dealer and see a highly trained tech.
They take good care of me. Even with my cars being tuned they still honor the bumper to bumper.
My Parts manager friend who I met though my best friend gives me big discounts.
I like GM! They even paid to have painted my Z06 at my body shop.

a lot of people here forget the recall and service bulletin on the "low side fuel pressure sensor"

... take a wild guess why that recall was in effect? It was so that when people came in complaining about this problem, GM had a SIMPLE answer for the dealerships to do to the cars... without dropping the fuel tank... as that sensor is easy to get to...

and GM knew odds of a person going fast again in the cold, after that repair... were slim to none. So it had a placebo affect on the customers and the dealerships.

Ill give you a hint... my sensor has been replaced, and so have 4 other people who are about to get their cars lemon'd. Take a wild guess how much the sensor was the actual problem?

See if you can find the date on that recall TSB. Don't bother sharing it here, keep it to yourself, and know that i just answered your 2016/2017 year question/objection.

You can stay out of here, ill let you know if we need you.

Your juvenile mentality that the court gives one iota of a care what is said on a forum... and that it can affect a lemon law case... is the icing on the cake.

Prove who Irun is.

Prove who I am.

Good luck with that genius boy.

Even if a person in real life said that they were either of our accounts, or even if we say here we are a real person, it is all hearsay.

Until someone, under oath or to a cop, confesses in real life, they are an account here...

There is nothing.

The only thing we DO know is who you are.

And so will the news crews when they want to get your opinion on problem with GM cars that can kill people, that you got in the middle of.

Your address is easy for them to find.

This is Twilight Zone stuff. Keep it up though, very entertaining. GM probably just wanted to source one fuel pump instead of two. GM is pretty smart. The engineers know exactly what’s up.

Could be.
Do they also put the new fuel pump in the Stingray, or just the high fuel demand versions?
