Any black exhaust tip options for OEM exhaust?
I love the look of the black tips on a few of the aftermarket exhausts that are out there, but I don't think I want a complete catback for my Z. Are there any OEM/GM black tips that are out there or other aftermarket options? Specifically, I would like something similar to what Corsa offers for their exhausts, but for our OEM.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I cleaned my factory exhaust tips and painted them flat black with high temp paint. I like the looks.

Melting Slicks
would love if someone came out with carbon fiber tips - but only ones currently available that look right you need to buy from Akropovic and that is a complete cat back system I believe. Any other stuff out there is complete TRASH!

In NA, you can only get the slip-on from Akra unless you're buying NOS (new old stock). Akra stopped distributing their catback to the NA market.

Exactly. Something visually similar to the Akra would be awesome.

Painting is a cheap way out and looks great. I taped off the leading edges with 1\4 tape to give them some contrast. Unfortunately after a few Watkins Glen track days most of the header high temp paint burned off. Haven't touched them since there are much more important things to do than worry about what my *** looks like passing others!
This shows the outers burnt off and the innders looking like new.
