Caravaggio Tailor Made Red/White and Blue Edition
I thought I would share one of the current builds we are doing. We call this our Red, White & Blue edition. This was suppose to be the shop car but a local customer had to have it. Took us almost three weeks just to do the stripes, the white was done and then cleared. Then we had to sand and tape up and do the blue and clear coated. Then we had to sand and clear 2 more times so that you could not feel the stripes if you ran your fingers over it. The car received our headlight treatment, A pillars along with the cooling ducts on the top of the quarters as well as the lower brake duct trim where painted to match the car. All carbon flash parts where done in a matte black finish and exterior and interior carbon will also be done in a matte finish. We will be doing some engine modes along with center knock off wheels and a complete interior.

Love your designs John. Only thing that is not asthetically pleasing to me is your love of color matched A pillars. The rest is magnificent!

Looking great John, your work is always nice to look at.
Any chance you're going to send me the winglet bolts for the front splitter I bought from you 2 years ago? The original ones rusting out immediately are pretty embarrassing. I gave up on texting/emailing you after you said you would send them multiple times but I never received

There are several reasons for doing it the way we are doing it, first the base white is so delicate that it marks quickly so its easier to clear it and protect it. the other thing is that we do not want to feel the edge of the different colors. if you ran you finger over the paint you cannot feel the stripes. I saw Ferrari do it this way and decided to do it the same way as well.

looks great. I would be curious to see what it would look like if the blue stripe was same color as the seats....
or maybe just a thin pinstripe on the outside edge of the darker blue, with the lighter blue as a thin pinstripe on each side of the dark blue... or maybe out between the white and the red is where the light blue pinstripe could go. Everything might come together perfect.
