Love down shifting coming to lights.
i have a 2019 Z A8 and get tons of burping and popping when down shifting the loudest is when it’s in the 40s outside and I down shift into second at 33-35 mph. It makes me giggle like a school girl every time!

I love me some popping on the overrun (F40 is my all-time favorite car) and am actually a bit annoyed after watching videos that the newer Z06s seem to do this. Anybody have any experience with either adding headers or a cam and then getting some burbles? Even after a pulley, xpipe, intake, TB and tune, my 2015 Z06 has zero burble or pops on decel from any rpm. Thanks!

Tuning is where you could get it done even without adding other items....the cells for fuel on certain rpm leave a bit that burns later into the exhaust making those noises. Turbos often did it running rich and then having the excess fuel on the overrun burning in the exhaust. My lightly modded 86 Porsche Turbo does it...including a few nice little fireballs in the right temps.
My dad got a ride in my 2019 Z06 M7 last night and with rev match on noted the "backfires" going on and I told him it was normal and desired. He didn't get it....but he did get me started on cars owning his 1968 Camaro 4 speed from new until well after I was an adult...the car I learned to drive a manual on!

As well you should love it! It's an amazing car! There is NOTHING on the planet that costs what the Z06 does, that can do everything the Z06 can! Nothing!
