At long last, I’ve upgraded the Z
I bought my silver Z 14 years ago and have loved it from day 1. Belive it or not the car stayed almost stock all that time other than a MGW shifter I installed.
Over the course of time I was tempted by the C6 but the fact that the interior was ergonomically identical and still not very nice ultimately allowed me to defer contemplating an upgrade for another generation.
Fast forward to the C7 Z06, an amazing car but also an order of magnitude more expensive. I pined after one for years and finally got into a position where it is possible. I’m hoping to enjoy this one at least 10 years! The power is incredible. Just an amazing machine.

Congrats on the Z. I am loving mine so far. Just grabbed it last month. It's been 25+ years since I last owned a Vette. Feels good to be back in one.

It's a 2017, and has the 1LZ package. A hard requirement for me was the HUD, but I didn't feel like I needed the other things that come with the higher level trim packages. This was also a one owner car that they owned for less than a year, so it has the majority of the factory bumper to bumper warranty on it. And the dealership had just replaced the stock tires too. Ultimately I just couldn't pass up on it even though it blasted through the budget!
