Default Finally biting the Bullet for a round of mods. 2016 C7Z/A8

Hello all,
I’ve been hanging in there on the stock tune for a couple of years since I bought this car in October of 2016. I’ve made quite a few quarter miles passes (over 120) during that time. My best pass has been 10.380 at +100DA.

I have done a few mild mods, with the stock tune including Borla X, Mamo PTB, Halltech CAI & Tric, and an LMR HX and ice tank. I even had the LMR billet thermostat housing with the 174 degree Lingenfelter thermostat on it for a while.

Well now, it’s time to do a TUNE and a round of MODS. Here’s what’s in store.

95mm zr1 TB, Kong ported LT4 blower, Frankenstein ported LT4 heads, cam with fuel lobe (and all supporting cam mods incl. dod delete), AR 2”/3” ceramic coated log tubes, AR catted X, with stock tailpipes and mufflers. Upper and lower pulley, ATI damper, DSX low side, DSX flex fuel kit, AEM 3033 gauge, and HP tuners, with of course a tune, including a transmission tune. (Edited: Forgot to add a MMS wild catch can, and we will be breaking out the baro.)

There will be no meth used, and the flex fuel setup & tune will
allow either pump 93 or _?_% e85. (We shall see)
I will be retaining the Halltech CAI, the LMR thermostat housing with 174 thermostat, the LMR HX and the LMR Ice tank. I’m not planning on reinstalling the Tric for now.

Also, I will be selling the Borla X, the Mamo PTB, and maybe some other odds and ends. I also bought some gently used stainless primary cat delete pipes (originally sold by Tony @ norcal_ss) about a year ago which I never used, which I will also be selling.

The car car is currently at the builder’s shop, waiting for my ARH coated headers which I ordered just after thanksgiving, which have not shipped yet. As soon as We get the headers, I will get it back quick.

I just sent you a PM.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. Good luck with everything.

Default It has begun.

Converting to 2017 style lid and hood liner, because I want to!

And here she is undressed. :-) Damn that stock tune was rich!
