2300 Supercharger with Stock Cats?
I want to keep my stock cats so I wanted to check if I cam use the 2300 with stock cats. I'm looking for 725 whp. Would 2300, CAI, and Tune get me there?

So long as you are not road racing, you will be fine. Are you not planning on installing long tubes along with blower? More air in = more air out. It needs somewhere to go.

The 2300 will produce less heat than the stock blower, so your exhaust gas temps should be in check. To my knowledge its when guys start using a lot of meth and other fueling upgrades is when the stock cats become an issue. Obviously make sure whoever is tuning the car keeps cat overtemp protection on and knows how to tune. You will be leaving some power on the tale sure, but probably somewhere in the ballpark of 20-30ish which isn't really relevant at the 700+ hp level.

I do not believe you will get to 700whp with the mods you have listed, you will most likely be in the 650whp range with just 2300, intake and tune.

depending on the octane you’re using you’ll be hard pressed the even see 650 rwhp. If it’s 91 now way. I say this because I have a 16 Z m7. With kook LT, afe intake,2300 maggy, 5% pulley and an x tank and tune. Only 91 octane made 660/724. And also upped my low and high side fuel pressures. Need to add a boost a pump and up to a 10% pulley to make more power

Keep in mind peak horsepower number when the car is cool versus the horsepower the car can repeatedly produce are two different things. With the stock blower, the IAT's rise quickly and the car pulls timing. With the 2300, it will produce less heat and will not pull timing like the stock 1.7. So with the 2300, you're gonna have that max power there pretty much all the time. So you shouldn't just focus on how much horsepower you get from one hero dyno run, but rather, being able to use that power consistently. The 2300 also has much more room to grow with future mods than the 1.7 does. I think the 2300 is a great upgrade for our cars.
