2015 Z06 and new Hellcat Redeye OR new ZR1?
I have a friend that owns a 2015 Z06. He needs to make a choice and is mulling it over. Obviously, there are pros and cons for each choice. I thought I would post this and get some other perspectives or laughs. What would you do based on these choices? When he asked me I honestly had to think about it, interesting position to be in. He does not know that I am posting this. Perhaps he will stumble across this thread.
1. Keep the Z06 and buy a new Hellcat Redeye edition.
2. Sell/ trade the Z06 and buy a new ZR1.
Thanks for reading.

Sell z06 and get the ZR1.
Because he owns a 2015, he bought a debut year. Not saying there's anything wrong with that but there are minor advances as the z06 progressed from 15 to 19.
With the ZR1, it's obviously going to be a 2019, so it'll have the latest everything, more power, fresher warranty.
Oh yeah and don't forget, the ZR1 BADGE. That way he can tell people he has the top of the line corvette now. Well until the C8 comes out.
But he'll still have some time to claim he has the king of the hill corvette

the “hoop skirt” of a wing with the zr1 tramp stamp peaking out from the *** end of the car is pretty cool. The guy would have the top shelf rolller derby big girl corvette.

You don't have to get the bench wing, there's a smaller wing as an option.
But the guy wouldn't have to worry about overheating if he got the auto, and he'll be basically bulletproof if he went manual. GM sorted out all the junk with the zr1 that the z06 was left with as it hit the showroom floors. How much power is a z06 really making in the real world?
The zr1 makes it's 755hp @ 100 degrees. Which means on any given day that's cooler, the car is probably even faster.
Better aero, effective cooling, more power, fresher warranty. Better looking, aggressive, FUNCTIONAL front bumper.
Not sure where's the fail in that car? Unless you wanna nitpick and say the wing is ugly. But then again the GT2RS comes with a bench wing and no one says anything about that.

Keep the Z06 absolutely, it looks better than the ZR1 and is crazy fast. The Z06 easily overpowers its tires on the street so why do you need to spend an extra 70 or 80 large for 100 more HP that the ZR1 has. Unless you are a professional driver of sorts then the Z06 is better than you are. Hellcat is fast, comfortable and very good looking.

I don't have actually figures. I can only say the Hellcat does it with more "Drama",I had the A8 and in Track mode the shifts snap your head back and the SC whine is intoxicating. The Z is a no nonsense beast that powers up so smooth you hardly realize your there. With better traction and being 1000 lbs lighter I'd have to think it would be the Z and with the top down it sounds amazing doing it.

Another vote for keeping the Z and adding the Hemi.

As someone who owns both a Z06 and a Challenger Hellcat my vote is for the pair over the ZR1. That Hellcat is a great GT car and a hoot to drive.

I vote for option 1 all day. Hellcat is a better cruiser than a ZR1 hands down and you can do a couple bolt on’s and have the speed of the ZR1 with the ZO6. Unless he is the type of guy where a ZR1 makes him feel higher in his social status. Then buy the ZR1. I have a C7z and a Scat Pack Challenger. Love them both.

I voted keep the Z06 and get the Challenger. I may be a bit biased as I have a 17 Z06 and a 17 Charger Hellcat.
