Default Police loving the new California exhaust law

So glad I'm as far away from that state as I can be.

My friend sent me this video from a meet:
https://m.facebook.com/groups/258234985051407?view=permalink&id=283338 179207754

I heard some stock cars like an M4 have gotten the ticket already. They have to waste their time in court to fight it.

Just for that, I'm going to go take a drive today in my M7 Z06 with Borla X-pipe and then downshift while engaging ARM while in Track mode all while drinking a Starbucks iced coffee through a plastic straw.

LOL i saw that.

Looks like florida is getting better and better to live in if you want good weather, even though it's hurricane state.

I'll take snow 3 months out of the year than to deal with those types of nonsense for laws.

Nevada and neighboring states will need a 'Wall' soon.....to stop those enthusiasts with exhausts from jumping over the border...

Cali has an export tariff on exhaust products leaving the state.

Starbucks the product is great but the company kind of sucks. They are really pushy with their social agenda. If you have a local alternative maybe check them out and support them!

Yep, I agree. I live in Fl., and near me, we don’t have too many options besides the standards like McDonalds, Wawa, and Dunkin. The only time I buy Starbucks is when I travel on business and the $5 coffee is covered on my expense tab. I’ve tried local shops when availailable and it’s always a crapshoot in terms of taste. At least Starbucks is consistent city to city, but I agree their social agenda is a little whacky. I’ve also noticed that ever since the Philadelphia incident, the Starbucks bistros have become trendy hangouts for the homeless based on their new policy. It will be interesting to see how long that lasts as I’ve noticed on my last few cold weather trips, that there were just as many homeless people hanging out to stay warm as there were patrons sipping lattes.

(Sorry for thread hijack - Borla X-pipes rock)

Looks as if rates have gone down. This is my sons first ticket. 1 year and 1 day of getting his license. He was carrying all documents. Had correct registration, showed prior term insurance, later found his license under seat. Kid is a millennial. My most recent pull over was 107 mph, was told to remove tint from side windows and we'll call it a day. I agreed.

More likely to miss your cup holder and douse your interior with Starbux j*zz.

I agree. Especially since I have an M7. That's where the Double Travel Buddy cup holder comes in, although rarely used.

They don't actually test your exhaust noise level when they pull you over. They can write a ticket for any exhaust they think is too loud. It's up to you afterwards to pay the fine or take it up in court.

Have to log in to the facepages to see the video and I don't (and never will) have a facebook account. Don't suppose you have a link from youtube or anywhere else?
