Which power package is your favorite?
Looking to up grade to a higher horse on my stock 16 w/auto.
750-800-850-1000hp...
which vendor have you used to get that power.
price really jumps when you get to the top and vendor prices are all over the place.
Looking to make 1 change with 1 vendor .
Thanks
Mark

I'd like to hear thoughts on this as well. I have received quotes and talked with pretty much every reputable shop on the east coast. I get the saying "you get what you pay for" but some of these package prices are way more expensive for less power. I need reliability and power. More expensive does not always equal better.

What are you asking? You want to make 700-1000whp?

I went with Callaway's 757 package and short shifter on my 17 ZO6 and love it. Keeps GM's warranty, a lot more power, great people to deal with, right in Old Lyme Ct. I had a problem back in Dec. and they sent one of the engineers to my house 2 hours from there shop and fixed it in my garage. Talk about customer service.

Determine your goals and build your own package around those. The vendor packages can serve as a good starting point. Ask questions here and discuss with your tuner.

What all did Callaway's 757 package include and at what price point? I am in central MA and they are definitely convenient for me.
I have debated on the Magnuson since its priced at $5k but also think the extra few grand for a Procharger system looks like its worth it if you are going for an increase but keeping everything else pretty stock.

I don't know if this is what the OP is trying to articulate, but I too am interested in adding noticeable power, but I don't really want to spend 20 grand to get 100 ponies. That's ridiculous. Seems like there must be a package from a vendor out there that's something like CAI, xpipe, headers, flex fuel conversion, tune and maybe an upper pully (or some variation of all that) that would yield the same power for more like $5k. I had a buddy that spent 20 grand building his 92 eagle talon tsi, which stock has something like 150hp and afterwards he's putting just shy of 600 to the wheels. That's the kind of result I expect to see with 20 grand - a completely built, blue printed, balanced, bullet proof engine that can handle 30 pounds of boost with an attached blower that can put out said boost.

Before you consider Hennessy read the forum posts about the company and peoples experience with them. I think you may find some interesting reading.

For 30K+ they should have also showed up with a hooker for that price tag.

Honestly seems like the 750-800HP ballpark would be a good fit for you. I'm on the East coast and I would say East Coast Supercharging, Vengeance Racing, and Race Proven Motorsports would be among my top choices. However it looks like you are only 6 hours from Katech so unless you want to burn money shipping the car you should probably stay local. Just my suggestion good luck on what you choose.
