I made close to 100 passes with this set-up before it broke the passenger side axle stub. So I just replaced those with the DSS 300m stubs.

Machined Carrier with the second pinion shaft hole.

4- spider set-up

Had to weld a bolt in order to get the factory stub out of the axle.

New DSS subs.

broken factory stub inside the axle.

WOW! Bro good info. Would this process be hard for someone wanting to do this ahead of time before breaking it? With that nasty launch I see why it broke LOL. An all that off idle is crazy.

Thanks Nic. Anytime we see low 60's in the forecast for a test n tune we run to the track, lol. Your ride would definitely put down faster numbers with that DA without a doubt.

I would run out the track every time with that DA if i was out there too LOL! We usually have anywhere from 4000' to 4500' DA when we run down in Tucson so our air sucks.

Thank you.

I have a 2.31 upper and 18% lower. I would not run this combo with-out a twin meth nozzle to keep the heat in check.

It is just time-consuming as the center section needs to be taken completely apart in order to drill the second shaft. Speaking from personal experience it should definitely be done before you break a spider gear as that can sometimes take out the side gears and do damage to the carrier.

I pretty much have the same setup as you only less boost. I’m hoping with just a 2.38 pulley wise and no lower with a JMS low side voltage booster I can get away with e50 no meth. Cooling wise I have Fasterproms thermal reduction plates, 160 stat and soon to be CPE heat exchanger. I’m interested in their 5” CAI too.

great times. Getting a lot of performance per dollar with what you have done. I’m trying to do something similar.

Thanks, the CPE heat exchanger and expansion tank are both quality products. I want to try their 5" Cai also.
