Frankly, if one or 2 come loose, it is not the end of the world anyway. They will stay in place. Just pop your hood from time to time and make a note to check them out.
Thanks for the reply...so no gasket to deal with?? Just literally unbolt take off....put on and bolt back up??

It almost sounds too easy, doesn't it? I'd like to think I could do it myself, but I'm pretty sure I would just let my mechanic handle it to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Can I ask why you would swap lids? is there a difference that would allow a new lid to make more boost?

Supposedly it's good for a 25 hp increase(which I'm not sure is legit or not), but the main reason is so you can hear the supercharger whine like this:

This is from the nx express site...

This Billet LT4 Supercharger Lid replaces the factory supercharger lid on GM LT4 Superchargers for a quick and clean install. The improved airflow design of the lid increases up to 25HP by itself and has machined ports so you can add nitrous and / or water methanol injection systems later if desired.

Not interested in the nitrous/methanol ports....just increase in both HP and Torque....also people who have swapped lids claim the Supercharger whine is really present and audible!!!

Did they ever clarify if the 25 hp increase was at the wheels or the crank?

This may be better. If I still had my C6 ZR1 I would have it.

I'm looking forward to seeing if you can because I just ordered one myself and should have it a day or two after you get yours.
