Reggie927 and BrookenookZ06, either of you get this lid put on yet and if so how was the installation process? Mine is supposed to be here Monday so I'm anxious to hear your thoughts.

It was pretty simple, i got new gaskets from the dealer but to be honest my gasket still looked brand new, not sure if you can reuse them but the instructions say to do so. Also hand thread all of the screws before you start to tighten so you dont cross thread anything

How long did it take you? Also, my car only has a few hundred miles so I'm assuming my gaskets would be OK.

Hmm about 30 minutes but i wasnt rushing and i took my time torquing the bolts and wiping stuff off. The gasket didnt look like a crush type seal so i would just inspect yours, i did rub some oil on it to make sure it sealed

Hows the Supercharger whine now?? Feel any more power?? What kind of oil did you use on the gasket?? How much of a pain was it to take off the bolts that are kinda underneath the windshield wiper housing?? Thank you!!

Dude I don't give two ***** about your half-assed thought process. Thought I'd make things a bit easier for you by looking at the videos of cars with the nx lid on them.

You don’t get it.....you can’t even put the link in correctly to view your YouTube video...lol...🤪🤪🤪🤪I’ve seen the videos....I’ve heard all the comments....I was asking for HIS OWN opinion on what HE thought about the sound of the whine...HIS own opinion on what HE thinks the sound is like....Not that hard to understand really....

I have not driven the car yet as I am going to install my long tubes this week so the car is still on my quick jack. I just rubbed some clean oil i had from the last oil change on it a thin coat. I just stuffed a socket down there and loosened it and got the girlfriend to remove the bolt with her small fingers.
