Default Looking for input on the NX supercharger lid

I have a 2016 with an intake, ported tb, lower pulley, and exhaust. I am thinking a the nitrous express upercharger lid may be the logical next performance mod for me.

Does anyone have one of these installed that can give me some real life results/impressions?

Will my smaller 2015 lid and supporting mods enhance the increase in power?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I have a 2016 M7z and just ordered one and am full bolt on with a on the way Kong ported blower. From the reading I have done there is definitely a noticeable power increase from our smaller lid to the NX lid. Have read two different threads with dyno numbers between a 15-16 lid vs a 2017-present lid and there were gains both times. The direct port spray design too is always there if you ever want to use nitrous. There is a local guy that made over 800whp with bolt on’s and a NX lid 100 shot on e60. Stock heads and cam. Untouched blower.

I've had mine on my 17z for a good month now with a mamo ported TB, BMS filter and borla catless x pipe. I also gutted the hood liner and weather stripping seal and down graded my stage 3 spoiler to a one and lastly added GS wheels in place of the OEM Z wheels. All together the car is quite a bit quicker than stock and most noticeably, the stock S/C screams. For comparison I have a charger hellcat which has a very loud stock blower and mine Z's blower is much louder than that.

Will the NX Super Charger lid fit a 2015 with the original hood liner?

No. You will have to purchase the 17+ hoodliner.

How long of a job is it to replace the stock lid with the NX lid on a '17 Z?

like 20 small bolts off, and back on again. 2 min tops. Make sure you find the tightening pattern for the bolts here online, there is a way its supposed to be done.

The thing you will wait longest on is for the blower to cool down so you can touch it, if you drive the car prior.

Thanks for the info. If you ever come across a link to that tightening pattern and could pass along it would be greatly appreciated.

How tight do you tighten the bolts back down? Is there a gasket/gaskets of some kind? Sorry for noob questions!! Thank you!!

not tight at all really. Those bolts are easy to break off i have heard.

Frankly, if one or 2 come loose, it is not the end of the world anyway. They will stay in place. Just pop your hood from time to time and make a note to check them out.
