I ordered a z06 without ceramic brakes and rotors want to know can you change them after and is it cost-effective or should I just order it with them.

I would just order them with them if you want them.

Order them. They are a bit grabby on th3 street when cold, but w the sticky tires are a great option... and if you just hate brake dust they are worth it for that alone!
enjoy your car when you get it, mine has been one of the most fun cars I’ve ever owned!

Op, will you track the car? If yes then the ceramic j57 option is a good way to go. However rotors are extremely expensive. And tracking wears them out fast

if you don’t track the car the j57 ceramic option is good. Because they are clean and will last pads and rotors the life of the car. 150k plus miles.

If you want clean on the street just go with what you have and on powerstop z26 pads for 130 bucks at rock auto. And save 5k for the j57 option.
