New Goodyear F1 in our sizes!
is anyone else really excited about the new goodyear f1 series tires? They will be available in our sizes.. and according to goodeyear- it produced a quicker laptime than the trofeo ,and cup 2... and best of all- its a non run flat
oh and also its cheaper than the cup 2 by a significant amount.

If anyone buys a set, I'd like to see how they compare to the Super Sports or Sport Cup 2s. If I read the tire description correctly, it shows as 100/A/A, tread wear 100, but only A and not AA for traction? With a 100 rating, will these be more like Sport Cup 2s in that it will be difficult to get them hot enough with street driving?

That traction rating is for braking on a straight "wet" surface, so the A rating doesn't necessarily mean they are worse than the Cup2s, but probably not an ideal street tire if it is damp out. Honestly surprised the Cup2 gets an AA traction rating.

There was another thread started on 1/19/19 about this tire.
