Differential Fluid - When and how often???
#22
Melting Slicks
I drill two holes in the cap of the bottom. One for the fill tube that goes from the bottom of the bottle to the diff itself. The other for my air gun. CAREFULLY and SLOWLY add air pressure to the bottle and it will pump it up and into the diff

Drifting
I use a manual pump that screws into the bottle. Used a lot in the boating world to change outdrive oil.

The GM lube is a synthetic and I haven't had any problems with it. Since I track my car I have the dealer do the once every 24 hours of track time change (averages out to right around once per year). That way it is documented in GM's records if something does happen. However, I haven't had a diff failure in a car since I lost the diff in my 97 C5 during a long hot track day 21 years ago and hadn't had one in the 30 years before that. Diff failures are actually pretty rare even on ones that never see a fluid change once the diff was filled at the factory.
