Thanks so much for your answers, just texted my service guy and he said they will try to put them on and if they are able to "mount" them then there should be no issue. He said if he can't mount them, then we'll have a problem.

So I'm assuming we are good to go there. Definitely look at getting those fronts, and then just brand new rears...probably both go bald within the same 3-6 month time frame. Part of me might just go brand new just to truly test them out.

Looks like these are what I may be purchasing:::

TOYO PROXES R888R

  • 295/30ZR19
  • Sidewall Style: Blackwall
  • Load Range: XL
  • Serv. Desc: 100Y

TOYO PROXES R888R

  • 325/30ZR20
  • Sidewall Style: Blackwall
  • Serv. Desc: (102Y)

We'll be in the same boat. I've actually had the tires on wheels for about a month, but my car has been in the shop for 4 months, so I haven't been able to test them out. It was supposed to be ready tomorrow, but now it's looking like next week. Oh well.

Don't want to derail the thread, but since it's your thread...

I had a little accident back at the end of september

With $25k in cosmetic damage, I decided I was going to upgrade some stuff, so I got new wheels (and tires, obviously), doing a custom paint job (still yellow but with metallic and pearl in it), every single piece that is carbon flash from the factory is now carbon fiber, shaving the marker lights and reflectors, getting the exhaust tips painted black. MOST of the wait time has just been getting the aero carbon fiber parts from C7 carbon. It ended up being about a 9 week lead time. The other CF parts I got from APsis and it was super fast. I've talked about various aspects of my upgrades in several threads over the last 4 months, so once it's done, I'll start a new thread and do a youtube video with walkaround and post a link to that thread in all the other threads I've mentioned it, assuming I can remember them all. Even with a few thousand in buffer room from the insurance company, I've come out of pocket about 10 grand on this, so it's about a $35k overhaul at this point.

Oh wow, hope all the repairs go well, can't wait to look at the new paint and look of the car. Will look for the thread!

And... to get the thread back on topic.

I just ordered the TOYO R888R's (Fronts - 295 / 30 / 19 and Rears - 325 / 30 / 19 ) ! Will definitely give an update as I am going to take them to California in February for a little trip with lady.

I have a friend with a C7 GS and they went with the new Michelin 4's, but they are bigger than stock. No issues yet and have had them for a few months of daily driving on them.
. +1 on the PS4S for OP's stated/usual driving habits...

Finally got my Z out of the shop. I have to say the R888Rs are unbelievable! I cannot break them loose without dumping the clutch to save my life. Normally, with the PSS, if I was in first, even with traction control on and I punched it, the tires would break loose instantly. Even with traction control OFF I can't get the R888Rs to do that. If anyone is interested, here's what they look like on the car with 325/30/20R and 295/30/19F https://photos.app.goo.gl/DKy5JEsoSShCWsz5A

This is promising news. My local tire shop seemed to think the rears would be to tall (almost an inch over the factory tires). Have you had any issues at all with the taller tire?

No issues here.2017 z06 2lz package, everything is stock besides TB/Air filter - I have the same tires, Toyo r888r's in the same size. No issues at all!

Definitely not in the rear. I've scraped a couple of times on some deep dips in the road, but I'm not totally sure if it's the front tires or the scrape armor on my front splitter.
