How to verify if MR calibration update is done
Go to:
https://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web
Put your VIN in and click “Get Cal ID”.
Select “K19: Suspension Control Module” from the list. Click Next.
Select “Programming”. Click Next.
Select “With Semi Active Damping System” and click Next.
There will be two modules listed. “Operating System” and “Real Time Damping”. Click on “Real Time Damping”. If you see “New calibration to support performance parts and motor sport catalog customers”, the car has the update.

So, I guess this means my Magnetic Ride Control was not re-calibrated with the latest software, right?

Very helpful!
I was able to verify that I do not have the MR update, but I do have the 100 Octane tune!

Definitely helpful. Worked perfectly for me. And since I felt ZERO difference after I had it done, I can go back and tell all the people that said the dealer probably didn't even do it that they are wrong. Thanks!

As far as I can tell this procedure only shows what is available to be flashed for your VIN, not what has been actually flashed or is current in your modules. When I flashed my own vehicle with the mag ride re-calibration I checked the site to see if it showed up after getting it authorized and it was there before I even programmed it.

We all left at around 8 PM and the car set overnight untouched until about 10 AM the next morning when they allowed me to start it for the first time. Up on starting the car there appeared to be a "hiccup" of some kind when the dash and infotainment screens opened - I caught my breath - and then it immediately did a "reboot" type of correction and all looked fine. All has worked fine since and I could tell a definite difference in the Tour Mode which is much less harsh. Also, a vibration that would periodically come and go that I had thought was maybe a wheel-balance problem or perhaps even to do with a transmission/torque-converter problem went away.

Yes but my main point is that just because it's listed there on that site doesn't mean it's been flashed and that's the current calibration in that module, just that it's available to be flashed. I believe the only real way to know what is actually in the module is to use an MDI and the SPS software to try to flash the module and then it will tell you what the current calibration is which doesn't make it easy for anybody to check. Unknown if any of the aftermarket higher end scan tools can read out module software part numbers but pretty sure GDS can do it as well.

I paid to have my 2018 done. Process tool a couple of hours while the tech was on the phone with the TAC. He said they had to assign a code to VIN to allow it to be programmed.
According to this tool, it does not show that it has been done (if that is what this tool is telling us...)

FWIW, Had mine done in November of 2018, It was noticeable when I left the dealer. Went home and parked it as instructed by Tech. Very satisfied with the change. I also used the link in post #9 and it worked fine and showed the cal was completed.
