Default Best bang for the buck

From Chevrolet web site
Stingray base price $55,900 base price 455 HP $131.6 per HP
Grand Sport $65,900 base price 460 HP $143.2 per HP
ZO6 $80,900 base price 650 HP $124.4 per HP
ZR1 $123,00.00 base price 755 HP $162,9 per HP
So there are the facts pertaining to price vs HP. From this prospective alone the ZO6 would be the hands down winner and the ZR1 the worst bang for the buck, but we all know there is much more to these cars than just HP. The more subjective things like Handling, looks, and track use are much more open to debate. I still think all things considered the ZO6 is still the winner, but then again i may be biased. I am not trying say one car is better than another just which one give the most for your money. Whats your opinion?

The one that gives you the best bang for the buck is the one you like best and that is within your budget. Period. End of story.

That is one way to look at it. But in the real world it is do you have the bucks to cover that bang you want.

The magic of marketing and engineering is that GM has created a goldilocks model where everyone can find the right mix of appearance and power. I'll take mine in 650 strength thank you.

All good advice. Quite often, buying cars is an emotional decision that can be justified only by the purchaser. Asking the Z06 Forum which flavor of the Corvette is the best buy or value is akin to the story of having the fox watch the hen house. It;s your money, it's your purchase and it's your decision.

I agree the Z06 is a bargain. Some great deals on leftover new ones out there. It still boggles my mind that some think 20% off sticker isn’t enough.
