'19 Z06 vs. '19 ZR1

but what’s the point of debating a “Supercar” ? Sounds like Demuro again, confused by how good the z06/zr1 performances are, but why are we mortals able to attain it?!
I dont begrudge anyone who can get a ZR1 or a new exotic.
I love my ‘17 Z06 M7. And I traded in a ‘17 GS for it.

Well I’d argue. They are neck and neck with an LT1 on the street. I agree that the Corvette is the faster track car. I also give props to BMW on the M car interior.

our cars do NOT come close to German interiors.
Not even close. Were on par to what Honda is doing with their interior. Have anyone been inside the new accord? Its amazing.

The price I got my Z06/Z07 for with discount was a bargain compared to my ZR1 with a small discount, made the ZR1 57k more than the Z06, I should feel cheated for that much price difference, but I don't, while almost the same car, they are way different. You have to drive one then the other on the same roads daily to see and feel the differences. Pictured are my 12th and 13th Corvette's, the silver one was my favorite, then the orange clown car (as my wife calls it) arrived, it's pretty special, and maybe around for a while.

BS, Porsches use the same plastic and faux metal as the Corvette, many pieces from the same manufacturer. The interior of the 911s and 718s is spartan and very boring.

OMG, you are clueless, beyond clueless. The ZR1 was never marketed towards the blue collar wallet because the 150K price is wildly out of the range of affordability for the working man and family. A blue collar guy needs overtime and sacrifices in other areas to afford a base model new Corvette. These cars are toys and most people don't have a spare 150 bucks let alone $150,000 for a sports car. Get a grip.

A Porsche 911 GTS was parked right next to me the other day. I peered through the window and took a peek at the interior. It looked nice but I particularly didn't care for it. Maybe I was bias.
I also didn't think I could fit my kids hockey bags and sticks in the car either. So that also was a negative for my needs. Then with a $120K price tag it was for sure off the list.
The ZR1 is a great car for the money. I just don't need that kind of performance. Heck I don't even need the performance of the Z06 but for a little more than a Grand Sport, it was a good deal for me.

same with me. I never said the zr1 was worth the price. In fact they had to mark it up otherwise z07 packaged z06 will be almost the same price as a zr1. Cant do that lol.
but if I was gonna spend 140k. It wouldn't be a vette lol. I'd look at the amg gt or Porsche.
refined, classy, mature.....you know...for the blue collar worker lol
the interior on the amg gt is incredible.

I sat in a new M5 and e63 amg interiors are both nice and the layout and all but wasn't that much more comfortable to me than my C7Z other than the amount of space and excluding the massaging seats, and even though I'm not a ford guy the Lincoln navigator seats are better than all of them to me. Glad i kept the C7Z and ended up getting a Zl1 instead

yes if you’re talking a 918 Spyder or GT or GT2, but somehow I doubt it.
yes to Mclaren.
no to BmW again- I’ve been in the two door M3 then M4 from the e36 to last year’s model. Ok to drive to work in- that’s abt it...now I get you, the Gran Turismo is the ultimate in slow car in a sweet looking and sounding chassis- looks like 0-60 in 3.5 more like 5.5...

Punky you again come here to give opinions on cars that you don’t even own. How about if you go buy a Z06 ,Zr1 or Porsche GT so we can start taking all your mumbling seriously. You my friend are a Humper.
