Sold my 2012 CTS-V coupe to buy my 2016 Z06. Night and day in power and handling. Z06 is way faster. ... I miss nothing from the V.
This...with the one modification that I sometimes miss the stealthiness (and the back seat) of the CTS-V. The Z06 gets way more attention, most of it good, some of it bad.
Callaway also has a package for the Tahoe rst edition. Looks very interesting.
Thank you for that mention. We do have packages for the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Escalade. The new RST version of the Tahoe has been very well received, and is what I have been driving lately vs. a Z06

OP. I watched a review on YouTube for the SRT and it said it ran hot when run hard. On the street not a track. And it wasn't in the desert. Not sure if they have issues like that but that review gave me pause.
I agree about the RST packages. Could always drop a Maggie on one and have a FASTER SUV than the SRT and more fun imo with blower.
Having a Maggie installed by certain installers gets you a 3/36 powertrain warranty. My buddy's shop tune time performance being one of them.
Chris your Callaway version of the Tahoe looks bad ***. Almost as bad *** as my Callaway Z06. Almost. 👍👍
Thanks. The new Callaway SUVs are really sweet - especially with our optional suspension which lowers and levels the SUV, delivering a sure-footed feel in corners, etc. Looks great, too.
560 horsepower, seating for 8, cleared for takeoff! All this, backed by the only powertrain warranty which works with your GM coverage that remains unblocked.
I'm thinking about dumping my Z06 for a new Lincoln Aviator. We became caregivers for my mother in law and the Corvette just sits and collects dust. I sold my 32 Ford 3 window coupe to get a play toy with a back seat (69 Camaro). I do like the Durango SRT but the wife wants more plush. I'm not about to ever own anything Asian. GM has nothing that I like and I want more high-end than a Ford. Lincoln is the leader right now for me.

Chris, you're killing me with the one on the left! I need that one! I love the look and lowered suspension
Thanks. The one on the left is a sweet one, for sure. It's the Callaway Tahoe RST SC560 w/ our optional suspension, pedal package, and wheel/tire upgrade.

.
Yeah I saw that review too. Real world....owners don't seem to have a temp problem, even when towing big loads.
Careful what we say about overheating....we don't want this thread put into the mega merge....
Why no hole in the hood for the supercharger? Beautiful by the way, only way I would have a Tahoe/Yukon.
No hole in the hood of the trucks and SUVs, as it's about 5 inches from the top of our supercharger to the hood. Imagine the runner length, or how tall we'd have to "build up" the lower manifolding to get the rotor pack and upper manifolding to sit through the hood.
Only way I'd have a Tahoe or Yukon, also. We built a few more this week, shipping to dealers. To schedule a test drive of one, please drop a note: [email protected]
Thanks,
