After 3 cracked/bent rear Spectra Gray rims, I finally threw in the towel and ordered some Forgeline VX1s (19 x 10.5 & 20 x 12). After toiling over VX1 & NW101 monoblocks vs AL305 series, it came down to bronze vs gold. Tough decision, as I really like the tinted gold, but I don't like to be too flashy, and my car is a stock 3LZ, as ordered. I'll have order some new spats and front spoiler, after 48K of rain and sun exposure.
Yesterday, I had my Gloss Bronze Forgelines installed. I wasn't quite sure how they would look on my DSOM, but I felt they would give me the look, I wanted without being too showy. I'm happy with the appearance, and happy I don't have to sweat any more cracked rims. Thought I would share my happiness!

They are definitely lighter than the stock wheels. I don't race the car and honestly I cant answer your question. I do know I get tons of compliments about the wheels and the car and these wheels were the best investment I could have made. They really set my car apart from an average/stock Z06. They have also held up extremely well over the last few years.
OP, the bronze finish looks great on your Z. I love the Forgeline VX1s. Of course I am biased since I have them on mine. Gerry at CW4L was amazing to work with.
