If I were to get a ZR1, the first thing I'd do is change the wheels.

Personally, why would anyone want the ZR1 wheels? I think they are fugly as hell. I am looking to get a second set of forged wheels that still look like my Z06 wheels,,In my opinion the C7 Z06 are some of the best looking wheels they have made so far.. I would agree with earlier posters... If I ever purchased a ZR1 I would already have better looking wheels ready to go the day I brought it home. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder It would seem, but my Z is just so damn good I would never even consider a ZR1 anyway

1) Easier to clean
2) Less bendy and cracky compared to the Z06. LOL
3) Trick someone into thinking you're driving a ZR1
4) Upgrade for those on nickel wheels

Yep beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think the z06 wheels have to much going on and are ugly heavy wheels. I really like the zR1 wheels that show off the CCBs.

I don't think your right on the heavy comment and not sure how the beauty of a wheel has anything to do with a perceived weight? I would think the ZR1 are far heavier wheels.. but I cannot take a guess as you have . I would think someone would have to weigh both.. but can't see that making a difference to many of us who think the Z06 are beautiful works of art in their own right. I know I do.. Love them! I hope you find your own little piece of pure happiness that I have.. I think whatever someone does to their machine is awesome.. nice to personalize them and make them their own.

Well yeah the wheels look heavy since there is so much going on with all the split spokes.

Wish the cars came with wheels that look like the ones on the c7r. Will be getting a set of lighter monoblock wheels.

Finally got my Grand Sport Wheel/Caliper project completed.......SIGNATURE SV701 19x12.5 et61 345/30 Michelin Super Sport
19x10.5 et 41 295/30 Michelin Super Sport

Luke at Tire Rack suggested this 19x19 Combo as dont care for the "LOOK" of 25 aspect sidewalls

My car had Rear Offset Imbalance Right to Left (contact me)

No they are NOT made in the USA like Forgeline or HRE...................but I believe SIGNATURE & BC FORGED mfg in TAIWAN to be
a High Quality Product with Significant Savings $$$$$.

These were shipped directly to my door in the best packaging Ive ever seen. No sales tax.

I was fortunate to have a local friend that has access to a very expensive HUNTER 3700 Pedestal Mount Machine.
These machine DO NOT contact the Barrel of The Wheel. NO marks No Scratches. NO Damage
Only ONE Discount Store in Entire Seattle Tacoma area has THIS type of Machine

I also sourced and found Wheel Weights that I found reasonably attractive
You may want a different looking weight

Also i purchased New TPMS Valves from www.TPMS247.com

PM me with your questions

Bane’s C6 ZR1 w 19/20 Forgeline EX1!!!

I think the ZR1 wheels look pretty good we have upgraded a few ZR1s with our Forgeline EX1s and several C7 Zs. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Truthfully I am glad everyone likes different things.. would be boring if everyone did the exact same thing... just do what YOU want to your ride and don't worry about anyone else... I may see something I would never do with my stuff, but does not diminish the fact it looks good...get out and drive! lol

Bane's Black ZR1 is Unusually NICE.....and in this case Gloss Black Wheels are a Good Choice.....

I was entered in the SALEM Vette Show with 160 Vettes Total.

I was the ONLY Car in Show with FORGED Aftermarket Wheels

In my part of the USA, I just dont see Vette owners Changing Wheels much and when
they do its another OE CAST Vette Wheel
