Have beautiful Heritage edition 2017 GS. Flawless in every regard. Considering Z06 Coupe in LBR or TR. 2LZ, blk int / compet seats, A8, PDR/Nav, Aero II pkg, red seatbelts.
What am I missing? Any other 'must haves'. Don't want M7, don't want leather dash in 3LZ.

Have battery pkg, Range AFM, new BMS filter, Vitesse (if needed) from GS. Will add XPel & ceramic tint

Appreciate your thoughts.

If you really don't want 3LZ (I personally think the jet black suede package is a must have as it finally brings the Corvette interior to a level that's comparable to rivals) then you seem to have all the must have's. Maybe a carbon fiber instrument panel or stinger stripe and carbon flash mirrors to help with the red on black but otherwise comp seats and PDR are the major ones in my opinion as everything else, except maybe the seatbelts, can be added easily enough. I'd say your good to go if your sure on 2LZ with that colour combo and options.

Good idea on the carbon flash mirrors.

It would make more sense to maybe just retrofit your GS with the items/options that you don't yet have … of course, it's only money ...

If you are not going to track your car, the GS is a very nice ride to take to the streets with … has most of the component parts that a Z06 has. If HP is the sticker, engine can easily be "breathed on" to give it plenty of get up and go.

slap a magnuson 2300 on your grandsport. When you get the z06 you’ll need to upgrade the puny Eaton TVS 1.7 to the 2300. You save money and have a car that will be faster then a stock z06.

The problem is, you still only have a GS....LOL

IMO, 2LZ Z06 is what I have and I love mine, now if the snow would melt I could get it out of the garage

I do wish my car had the carbon dash. I will go through the pain of swapping one in at some point.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My Z06 spec was similar to yours with 2LZ and Nav/PDR but with regular seats and Chrome wheels. I wanted more of a stealth look to my LBR Z06 so I also ordered the painted vents package and no extra aero package e.g., smallest spoiler, no side skirts etc. Then I added body colored side skirts from RPI Designs to compliment my vents. Also added the larger auto store mud flaps to minimize stone chipping on the rear quarters (lots of info posted on these in threads). I like it. Not to everyone's taste and many don't even notice what's been done to it. But it fits me. Whatever you decide will be best for you too. --Bob

There is no significant visual difference from a Gs to a Z06. The z06 suffers with the 1.7. the Op will take a hit on his GS plus have to pony up money for the z plus he would have to pony up 7 or 8k for magnus(parts and labor) to install on the z06. The OP can take a short cut with his GS right to the 2300. He will save money. and if he is not tracking the car, any internals the Lt4 has to beef it up, arent really needed on the lt1.

Gizmo - you nailed it. Ben from WeaponX (great dude!) ordered my TVS2300 Heartbeat last week. The math on my 3k mile GS (with $3k of Xpel Ultimate Plus) vs. a new Z06 was irresponsible ... PLUS, I love my Admiral Blue, red hashes and white stinger stripe package (a la 1996 GS). First week of April is install ... Can't wait! I will say getting to talk to ANYONE at Magnuson is virtually impossible.
