Most of the guys in the Optima events, me included, start between 26 & 28 while cool. When they heat up you're going to be up to 32-34 approx. Take a temp gun and check right after coming off the track and just before you go back out. You'll get her dialed in.

The manual states to start at 26 psi cold. I do that for the first session and adjust to 32 psi square as soon as I get back to the paddock so as the ambient temps heat up during the day my hot temps stay at 32 psi. This is the sweet spot for me.

what are you doing with a 'temp gun' at the track? What are you 'dialing in'? Just curious.
Same thing here, 26 cold 32 hot... keep checking after every session, you might have to keep adjusting one side or corner depending on the track config!
24/25 cold, depending on what side of the car and the circuit orientation worked great for me.

Alignment... it shows if the inside or the outside wears more or if it's kind of even...
I know what it’s supposed to do but not sure what Z06 owners are doing at the track to adjust for this other than tire pressures. Unless you have adjustable coil overs and camber plates your logging a ‘nice to know’ versus ‘dialing in your car’. The best you can do on a stock Z06 is ensure your tire pressures are right which usually means starting 10 to 12 pounds below your peak tire pressure. RH tracks like VIR usually need 1 or 2 pounds lower on the left versus right.
BTW here’s my starting pressures for VIR with Toyo R888R’s. They don’t like to be anything over 38psi or they give up grip. You also need 3/4 of a lap to have full grip.
25psi LF (right hand track)
26psi RF
29psi both rears
