Dumb Question, but can you remove it without breaking the oem mirror?

It would probably need to be very carefully removed using a heat gun and maybe some fishing string.

I would call it a semi-perminant mount

The adheasive is specially engineered for Glass on Glass so the bond
will be very strong

As stated above, a heat gun and fishing line could remove it,
but currently there are only two in the world, and neither has been
or attempted to be removed .

Think of this as 2 mirrors in 1

The inner approx 3/4 of the mirror will be the same as the one on your car
Think of this as 2 mirrors in 1

The inner approx 3/4 of the mirror is close to the same as the one on your car

The outer approx 1/4 is where the blind spot mirror is

Think of it like this

The only difference here is that our is a single piece, not a stick on circle type

Chip

This note from the maker of this mirror concerns me:
Product Notice: This product is intended for OFF ROAD USE ONLY. Use of this product on public streets may violate federal and or state regulations. Buyer accepts all responsibility and liability when purchasing and using this product.

Corvette Parts Review

What does everyone think?
Actually, I was going to order until I read this disclaimer.

That is a disclaimer required by the manufacturer.

If this concerns you, you should not order it, or headers, or intakes, or heads, or cams or X-Pipe
or throttle controllers or suspension controllers or aftermarket tunes or any other number of products for your car.

Or

You could wait 10 years for it to be DOT approved.

Chip

Why do you only make a driver's side and not a passenger side mirror as well?

Used the windshield mount for a Gamin to hold the mirror and interior panel removal tools to line it up. Will drive tomorrow.

hey guys, i just installed my blindspot mirror.
im gonna be honest ...

... this thing is awesome!
I was hesitant about putting it in because my car has auto dimming mirrors (but i also have tints), but im happy i put it on. it helps quite a bit. I would prefer a passenger side mirror too- i know the passengers sode is “convex” also, but not as much as the new mirror.
