I don't remember my C6 Z06 having so many rocks/pebbles flying up onto the car. I've had to pick pebbles out from the front edge of the rear spoiler several times so I bit the bullet and got some XL mudflaps from ACS. I opted for the carbon flash set to match the existing pieces as best as possible. While I'm not enamored with the new look, I'm happy to give Vanessa some needed protection. Very nice quality overall.

I'm disappointed these don't come with either a playboy bunny or Yosemite Sam gunz-a-blazin'!

They look good and I think you'll be glad you installed them, especially the front. In time the rear quarters get blasted, the damage is higher up than on the C6's.

I'll keep an eye on it. Luckily, the guy I bought the car from had an Xpel clear bra installed that covers the WHOLE car. Nice little benefit that saves me from installing one.

I just put them on two weeks ago and got to drive the car last week. These made a huge difference. It is still a little early here and we had a huge rain storm on Friday night which washed a lot of gravel onto the road in some places. When I drove over these areas I heard all the rocks hitting the underside and side skirts and after the drive the sides of the car were very clean. I got the XLs and they are great. One thing though. If you are putting on the ACS side skirts and the XL rock guards, do the rock guards first, then the side skirts. Due to panel alignment from the factory you may have to grind off some of the side skirt where it meets the rock guard. I was able to do it with a dremel tool but I was sweating bullets as I was very close to the paint. I had to grind off about a 1/4 inch on the driver side and about 3/8 on the passenger side. If you don't grind off the side skirt you cannot seat the rock guard completely or get the screw in underneath.

Op did you need all those trim tools? Just installed xl's last week just pulled it off my hand easily after removing the bolt. Knowing the tire side will get beat up in a matter of miles added a few coats of rubberized undercoat. Looks good and can remove anytime and give it another touchup coat. Can big enough to recoat many times....
