Default Finished the build on the Z

Just got the car back from SSLSX Tuning in Concord, NC. I wanted a conservative street build.
We went with a
BTR Cam w/38% fuel lobe and accompanying hardware
Cordes Performance Heat Exchanger, Expansion Tank, and DOD delete valley cover
Kong Performance fully ported blower and snout
Katech 103mm TB
Holley intech CAI
Griptech 2.31 upper pulley
Brisk plugs
Kooks Longtubes/midpipe
MM Solutions catch can
It put down 698hp/702tq on only 10lbs of boost
Car drives like stock until all hell breaks loose making peak torque at 3200rpm
Will prob swap the lower pulley and do flex fuel later or swap the blower and turn it up...
Can't seem to load idle and dyno video, but they are on youtube on SonicZ06

NICE power for such a simple combo....especially for no meth or e85.

Care to post the cam specs?

We are doing a similar build on mine as I type....curious how it will stack up.

No Prob
Dur @50 Int 225 Exh 240 lobe sep 116 Lift Int.635 Exh .624.

It sounds healthy at idle, but there is no surge driving around town.

Wow... I'm going to be running a very similar cam.... (223/239, .635/.635, 115 lsa). Other cams like this ive listened too sound very mild. I'm hoping mine sounds decent at idle. I know it will drive excellent though. Sub'd for your idle vids.

Yours makes good power for just an upper pulley. No doubt its gonna pick up a bunch if you put a lower on it. I'm going with an 18% lower, stock upper, Meth and E85.... I'm hoping for 750 rwhp with stock heads....we'll see I guess...

Are you going to port the blower? Long tubes?

Just listened to your vids on youtube. It sounds great. A lot better then most with that small of a cam. I'd be quite happy if mine sounds like that.

Yes, Kong ported blower, 103TB, 2" kooks, 3" x. Basically the same build as yours only a lower pulley instead of an upper and using meth/E85. I am adding a low side fuel system to help with the E.

My car is A8..... Is yours A8 or M7

Mine baselined 560 rwhp with CAI only.

Great build, congrats!
Pretty much identical build to mine, except mine has high flow cats, flex fuel and a dsx low side kit. Mine did 690/720 on 93, and 753/763 on e70. Mine also put down a 9.73@143 (on 93 unleaded) on its first pass after mods.
I have since broken the spiders, and waiting for rpm/waveloc diff to get finished.

My 16Z m7 made 661/724 on 91 octane. Kook LT high flow cats,2300 maggy, AFE, 5% lower pulley and x tank. Next is a MSD boost a pump and a 10% lower. I have a 15 but don’t want that much boost. My low and high side numbers have been raised as far as I can go. Hence the need for the boost a pump. My boost is 14lbs, AFR is 11.8 and timing at 16 degrees. Conservative street tune. Don’t want meth or E85
