Maybe. Don Kitch who runs the school was a huge asset in getting it pushed through. He acted as witness to the accident and is the chief instructor for the school and has a lot of experience working with the insurance companies. I'm pretty sure he's mostly responsible for making it go so smoothly

considering most guys pay big bucks for 24 or 48 hours of track insurance, we are glad you are okay, now onto the second most important stuff lol

Hate to see that, reminds me of my spin/accident. Once the wheels start spinning that wheel speed gets up there pretty fast and makes saving it difficult.

I almost wish mine had been totaled as I would have a check by now and could move on. Instead it is now getting torn down to asses further damage.

Surprised the car let loose right at that point. You can hear PTM active at the beginning of the video.

Looks like you hit the wall doing around 100MPH... that has to leave a mark.

It's ok, my face took the brunt of the blow. HAHA. My face was sore after hitting the airbag, but I walked away without any other injuries or even soreness

No, I'm happy with the payout from the insurance company and I'm going to wait for the C8

Glad you're ok-this is my nightmare. I run at PR somewhat regularly and just picked up a new Z06 on Monday. Your track tips are very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to post them. Again, glad you're ok and came out on top with the payout.

your luck, an employee of that ins company is a member here and sees the wreck and they deny your claim since you were in a track.
This is exactly right.....ask to have this thread deleted immediately. What you have posted on here could be used as proof of Insurance fraud. yes you got paid but the video shows exactly what you were doing and you just implicated the driving instructor. Do yourself a favor and get this off.

Very happy you're ok...cars can be replaced. It's incredible how safe these cars can be in substantial wrecks.

Here are my three thoughts since you are really moving along at high speeds:

1. You've got a lot of trees just off the track pavement.
2. You've got a lot of trees just off the track pavement that aren't going to move if you hit them.
3. I'm glad you wrecked where you did and not into those damn trees.
