The C7 is the first car I've ever owned where I do that pretty much every single time, even after 3 years.

That's awesome, glad you like it so much. I cant imagine anyone would buy the car and not be that way. That type of connection to a high performance specialty car to me is worth more than the actual performance.

Freaking awesome! Love the repurposed stock wheels. Firebird Formula wheels?

Yes, stock 16” formula wheels with M/T ET drags. I had massaged the upper ball joints to fit those rims to the rear. Dana 44 out back with 3.45 gears and as always, 1.32 60’s. It was a lot more impressive in the mid-90’s

A 9 second C4 street car is STILL impressive!

Back to the original post....I appreciate your opinion but, not everyone agrees with you. I've had a C4 and I can honestly say without being disrespectful, the C7 is superior.

After reading the OP, I've decided to sell my '19 Z06 and buy something more memorable. I haven't been able to sleep at night knowing that my C7 will not be thought of well after I'm long gone. It's just too much for me to bear. What was I ever thinking when I bought it. If any of you have suggestions for something more worthy, please let me know.

I still don't think the OP is correct in how the C7 will be remembered. It's a great car.

I agree with you TLS. Questions like the OP raised are cannon fodder for many of the Forum members. Some are very serious with strong opinions and others just like to jack off the C7 Z06 owners with off the wall comments. If you're passionate about your Z06, some of these comments can really get you PO'd. I've been there done that. Just as TLS Addict said and I do agree with him, I believe the car will be remembered as a great car. The C8 has yet to earn it's stripes, although it has the makings of being a terrific automobile....but it is a radical change from previous Corvettes and GM has fouled up a lot simpler design changes in the recent past. I'm going to wait and see and still really enjoy my C7 Z06.

I would enjoy what's in that chair in your avatar more than your C7, if I were you. lol
