I hate to break it to you but when the new revolutionary Ferrari like C8 is released, this is the model of vette that C7's will most likely remembered and compared against in about 2 years, some folks probably won't even know the difference between the two models (C4 & C7) once the C8 hits the streets:

The C7 may be a "better" car than the C6, but it will land at the bottom of the heap. C6 is a timeless look, especially the GS, and the C5 is close behind. I chose to buy a C6 because I never warmed up to the looks of the C7. But then again, opinions are like a$$holes; everyone has one and most times they stink.

haha I only have that issue with base C6 cars, stock C5s and almost every convertible Corvette when the top is up....
I'm ordering a new stick Z today. Drove a real Ferrari last month and it was awesome. But I don't want a rolling computer. I've always been old-fashioned and I want to stroke the gears pulled by a big, honking pushrod. Y'all enjoy the ME, but to each, his own. I haven't visited the C6 section since i sold my piece 3 years ago. Well except when i was trying to sell my C7Z wheels, hoping some C6 owner wanted to be a poser and get C7Z wheels for their C6.
But hey i love the C8, even though we don't know anything about it yet, but i don't go in that section. At least not yet

Opinions were solicited and I opined mine. It's honestly the 1st time I have been on the C7 part of the forum. Don't really know why I dropped in, other than idle curiosity.
I didn't insult the C7 as I indicated it is by all accounts a better car than the C6. I will never own one, simply because I never warmed up to the styling and the tighter cockpit. Those who like it can own one; it is a generation I will skip. I honestly am perfectly satisfied with my Centennial GS vert and really don't anticipate getting rid of it for the forseeable future.

Of course itll look better. When in the Corvette history has it NOT look better than then previous gen?

Lol, if I like it I will just buy it and keep my Carbon 65. Not going to buy it if it is as ugly as that rendering though. Not sure what you mean by reassurance.
