I hate to break it to you but when the new revolutionary Ferrari like C8 is released, this is the model of vette that C7's will most likely remembered and compared against in about 2 years, some folks probably won't even know the difference between the two models (C4 & C7) once the C8 hits the streets:

i think the c6 is going to be the undesirable car when it comes time to collect. Its the middle child between the 5 and the 7, with nothing profound to offer except the z06 427 and the first zr1 in a long time, other than that, i think its going to take the biggest hit in the long haul.

i love my c6 z51 manual coupe. Only on these internet forums do trouble makers make statements like the original poster...
im on my third new corvette...and this one was so trouble free...even to this day...even with 132 k miles since new people in the real world ask me if its brand new...thats how much they admire it...
your beautiful c7 s will be the same way...
dont listen to ******** who suggest the c7 will be old hat after the c8 releases...
its just not true...except maybe on these internet forums with little children trolling away...
buy a c8 or dont but never for a minute believe in the real world they are anything but fantastic sports cars ..
these kinds of threads are popping up over and over again to irk you guys ..
really all kidding aside...although not as wonderful as your c7 s...ask yourself...does this corvette , an slightly older generation not look cool as hell...
sure it only tops out stock at 190 mph..zero to 60 in four seconds and pulls 1.0 lateral g s in cornering...
how will I ever survive the shame?
your c7 s are even better...
dont listen to these idiots suggesting your c7 s are not world class sports cars..especially with 650 hp!

I'm ordering a new stick Z today. Drove a real Ferrari last month and it was awesome. But I don't want a rolling computer. I've always been old-fashioned and I want to stroke the gears pulled by a big, honking pushrod. Y'all enjoy the ME, but to each, his own. Someday when I put my new horse out to pasture, who knows, I might get me one o' them new-fangled horseless carriages that drives itself.

I am happy Corvette has finally done what Zora wanted to do a long time ago. As for my C7 I am quite happy to own one. As for the C6 I loved my 08 and every time I see it again I wish I could have kept it. Good news is I sold it to a good friend who has taken great care of it and I get to see it often.

Actually my 84 C4 is faster than my 16z06.

I know this is your way of telling folks to lighten up and chill out.
Great sense of humor.
But for those who may not have experienced a C4 perhaps we should let the record speak for itself.
The C4's total body of work will do just fine in any historical discussion. LOL
