I hate to break it to you but when the new revolutionary Ferrari like C8 is released, this is the model of vette that C7's will most likely remembered and compared against in about 2 years, some folks probably won't even know the difference between the two models (C4 & C7) once the C8 hits the streets:

The C6 is the best looking Vette since the C3 - especially the wide bodies. It will never be undesirable.

I hate to break it to you but I'm busy enjoying 650hp right now and waxing Porsches at VIR so I care very little about how my 2019 Z06 will be perceived in 2039 by some collector.

hey wait a minute..hahah

i love my c6 z51 manual coupe. Only on these internet forums do trouble makers make statements like the original poster...

im on my third new corvette...and this one was so trouble free...even to this day...even with 132 k miles since new people in the real world ask me if its brand new...thats how much they admire it...

your beautiful c7 s will be the same way...

dont listen to ******** who suggest the c7 will be old hat after the c8 releases...

its just not true...except maybe on these internet forums with little children trolling away...

buy a c8 or dont but never for a minute believe in the real world they are anything but fantastic sports cars ..

these kinds of threads are popping up over and over again to irk you guys ..

really all kidding aside...although not as wonderful as your c7 s...ask yourself...does this corvette , an slightly older generation not look cool as hell...

sure it only tops out stock at 190 mph..zero to 60 in four seconds and pulls 1.0 lateral g s in cornering...

how will I ever survive the shame?

your c7 s are even better...

dont listen to these idiots suggesting your c7 s are not world class sports cars..especially with 650 hp!

I'm ordering a new stick Z today. Drove a real Ferrari last month and it was awesome. But I don't want a rolling computer. I've always been old-fashioned and I want to stroke the gears pulled by a big, honking pushrod. Y'all enjoy the ME, but to each, his own. Someday when I put my new horse out to pasture, who knows, I might get me one o' them new-fangled horseless carriages that drives itself.

I am happy Corvette has finally done what Zora wanted to do a long time ago. As for my C7 I am quite happy to own one. As for the C6 I loved my 08 and every time I see it again I wish I could have kept it. Good news is I sold it to a good friend who has taken great care of it and I get to see it often.

Well I hate to break it to you but the C8 may well have more in common with the 1984 than with the C7. The first year if the C4 was a complete platform change, just like the C8 will be. The 1984 C4 was a notoriously bad car as it had the throttle body injectors which would bleed fuel and flood the engine along with all the other issues like horrible ride quality bad dash modules, and the list goes on and on. So I truly hope you are one of those brilliant early adopters who ends up with the very worst of the generations, because you had to get the attention your mother would not give you.

I loved my 08 ZO6 as well. Great car....only thing that worried me was the valves, although I never had a single problem and had them checked and there was no issue. the valve guide issue in my opinion was a small percentage of cars where the head was not machined properly. I think that others developed a slightly different problem but similar enough that it was linked, but caused by high revs on a cold motor. I always waited until the engine was a full operating temp before reving above 3k. adn though 08 was in the middle of the problem years, I never had the problem.

LMAO.
I know this is your way of telling folks to lighten up and chill out.
Great sense of humor.

But for those who may not have experienced a C4 perhaps we should let the record speak for itself.
The C4's total body of work will do just fine in any historical discussion. LOL
