Default My MTI “850” results...

MTI wrapped up the build on my 16’ C7Z, A8. I’m very happy with the results. I can’t wait to hit track this winter and see what it does.

MTI Stealth Cam
MTI low side fuel system
Kong Performance CNC ported blower/snout
Katech 103mm TB
18% IW lower pulley, (stock upper)
2” Kooks Headers, non catted X.
Alky Control dual nozzle meth
DSX Flex Fuel sensor
Haltech CAI
LMR reservoir

CAI only = 560
93 & Meth = 717
E85 & Meth = 778

This was in +2000’ DA, 85% humidity, swamp air.

I can’t recommend MTI in Houston enough for their service, communication and maintaining a timeline. Their work quality is excellent and Billy really goes above and beyond to get the car right and make real world numbers.

Ill get some pics of the engine up once we get the painted covers and new CAI on.

In a couple weeks we’ll be testing the Cordes 5” CAI and see if we can pick up some more power.

Damn. Tough crowd in here. Maybe I should have mentioned about cracked wheels, over heating, suspension noise, or warranty or something... LOL.

I’m not sure if MTI wants the specs out there. Billy can post them if he wants if he sees this.

I'd love for it to hit 9.50@140+ in good air. I'm sure it would probably go 9.60s on a drag pack, but I want to do it on wide stock wheels and 19"s, just how I drive it on the street. We'll see. I'll likely run it in Nov/Dec when it starts cooling off down here. Plus that gives me time to save up for the diff that it'll end up breaking.

Realistically I could see 9.60-9.70s on stock wheels/19s...at hopefully 140+.

Thanks.... Me too. I probably won't run it until Nov/Dec at the track though, we are already in our hot season. I only race in good air if possible, I don't want to make TOO many passes to keep the diff alive...(hopefully)

Sweet car and build. I have a similar build myself minus a few items. Looking forward to the track numbers. Enjoy the ride.
