Default Standard Aero on 2LZ 2019 Z

I have pored over this on Google, GM build site, past threads here & come up with nothing. What aero (skirts in particular) comes standard on the Z from the factory? I do know the different Stages concerning the front splitter & rear spoiler with wings/wickerbill. If '19s come with skirts, are they 3/4 or full? I'm trying to know if I will need to buy aftermarket skirts when my '19 comes in. Thanks for your answers!

i believe unless you order stage 3 carbon flash or carbon fiber full length rockers , they come in with 3/4 carbon flash skirts and a poverty spoiler. if your car is ordered tell the dealer to NOT install everything. it will save you time drilling out all the rivets . if your happy with the 3/4 rockers and spoiler then tell them to install

Thanks. Yeah that’s what I was thinking I’d do if they are 3/4 length. Not have them installed & get aftermarket full length, sell 3/4 ones cheap. If I get real lucky , dealer will install new ones. I did my own on my ‘16 but pain doing it alone trying to use carpentry clamps 😬.

nothing comes standard. you have to pick what you want when ordering. Reason I know is because when I was ordering one I was trying to delete the areo and didn't need to.

STANDARD: Poverty front splitter. Carbon flash painted 3/4 length rockers. Carbon flash painted rear spoiler with tiny (short) wicker bills. This standard package is known as Stage 1 aero.

OPTION 1 - Carbon Flash Painted Ground Effects Package. ADDS Carbon Flash painted front splitter with short end plates. ADDS Carbon Flash painted full length rockers. ADDS larger (taller) carbon flash painted wicker bills on rear spoiler.

OR

OPTION 2 - Exposed Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package. ADDS Exposed carbon fiber front splitter with short end plates. ADDS exposed carbon fiber full length rockers. ADDS larger (taller) carbon flash painted wickerbills on rear spoiler.

The two options above are known as Stage 2 aero.

If you choose OPTION 1 or OPTION 2 you can also add the PERFORMANCE AERO KIT which add the tall end plates to the front splitter and adds the clear center wicker bill to the rear spoiler. This Performance Aero kit is known as Stage 3 aero.

Hope this helps.

You're welcome. I know this as I just went through it all In January when I ordered my Z! LOL!! It took me a while to figure out all the aero options, so I know where you are coming from!

When I bought my 19Z in November I just got the standard stuff. Ordered carbon fiber from EOS and APR, they match very well. Got exposed carbon fiber hood vent and mirrors also, all for less than the $3K cost of the carbon flash. CVP did this also. He has a thread on the forum that’s very useful if you can find it.

On my 19 convertible, I chose to stay with the Stage 1 which comes with the 3/4 length side skirts. I instructed the dealer to not install the skirts but go ahead and put on the "poverty" splitter. When I got the car home, I installed a set of ACS Zero1 skirts.
My reasoning was from having owned a 17 GS coupe with the Stage 2, I was always concerned about tapping the front splitter on a curb or whatever and the front cameras sort of work unless the light is poor, so I chose to remain with the cheaper version on the front. I really liked the looks of the Zero1 skirts in Carbon Flash and the tuck back after the rear edge of the door did not really provide more ingress/egress clearance for feet. Personally I think Stage 2 on the vert would be a bit "Boy Racer" looking but no offense intended to others that like the Stage 2/3 packages and they do look more fitting on a coupe.

The order guide explains the differences, and the Dealer's guide has pictures and complete details of each. The Carbon Flash painted and Exposed Carbon Fiber are the same, the only difference is in the finish. If you want the Stage 3 you'll need to order either one of those 2 plus the Performance Aero Kit.

So if I want the side rockers (in rectangle in photo) black colored, NOT BODY COLORED, I need to order STI at $595.00?

My '19 2LZ had the "Option 1" aero but ACS became my source for the Level 3 and level 2 aero on my car now in carbon flash. You might also want to look into some "mud guards) at least for the front.
