How much louder is Akra catback then stick with 2” ARH headers?
I am debating pulling the trigger on a Akra cat back exhaust, is it much louder or different sounding then the stock NPP muffler with catless ARH 2” headers? Any feedback would be appreciated.

It’s a day and night difference! I have Kooks 2” headers catless with Akra and I pulled fuse. It’s freaking loud!!!! But it sounds so unique and awesome! Everyone always comments on how awesome it sounds and when I’ve done 1/2 mile events they all say my car sounds like a real racecar compared to others.

Did you put the Akra on after the catless to hear the difference or ? Are you running the ARH mid pipe or Akra?

No, the only Header that will bolt up to stock midpipe or any other midpipe is the ARH Mids. If you do longtubes, then get the midpipe that comes with the system. At that point any axle back system would bolt right up.

I had corsa extreme cat back and that’s nothing compared to headers and stock axle back (I have this now)

Here is a video of my vette with the full akra system... Mid length ARH headers... Long tubes wont work with the titanium x pipe......
This is also with a cam shaft from TSP.
its WWAY loud... But it can become very manageable if you put it in stealth mode... the NPP system works like stock with the akra!

I had corsa extremes catback and had no secondary cats and while the corsa is loud and raspy, its no where near as loud and meaty as it is with stock exhaust and catless headers, also running stage 2 cam and it sounds gnarly.
