Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust
I have been thinking about putting this pipe on my Z. Anyone here have any real world hands on experience with this system? Pros/Cons?

There's quite a few threads about the Akra. I have one, it's nice.

Pros: Fantastic system. Sound tone is great, fits perfectly, lightweight
Cons: FU expensive and sound volume is higher than what some people want

Had their full system on my 2016 Z06/Z07, on my 2017 Z06/Z07 and now on my ZR1, down side, really expensive, up side lightweight, looks great and sounds fantastic, if you have a stick, all my Corvette's are sticks, rowing thru the gears with the Akrapovic is something that is hard to describe, it has to be heard.

I thought about getting one because it is a super sick exhaust. But then I decided to use the money I had ear marked for it to buy a private jet and supply the salary for a pilot for the next 10 years... But seriously, as bad as I want it, I just couldn't swallow that cost considering you could get a different catback exhaust, plus headers (including installation), intake, flex fuel kit, E85 tune instead and probably still have money left over.

I love my Akrapovic exhaust. The x pipe is ridiculously light. When you hold it in your hand it messes with your mind. Something that size shouldn't be that light. The carbon fiber tips are bad@ss! The fit and finish of the whole system is excellent. IMO the best fitting exhaust I've ever installed. Better than the borla x pipe it replaced. Better than the OEM system too. Its loud though especially in track mode, but it sounds great! I'd like a set of long tubes but don't want to hack the ti x pipe, so I'll probably go with mid length headers or norcal delete pipes eventually.

Btw, I got the exhaust from Josh at MerakiAutoworks and couldn't have been happier with the transaction!

Pros - Sounds good, aside from stock exhaust its the only option to keep NPP feature. The other aftermarket exhaust may claim to have NPP but it sucks.
Cons - Expensive compared to competitors and actual value of money to performance.

The stock exhaust does a great job in quieting down the exhaust when NPP is "active" ... The others even when its active........ its really not, hence it sucks. The exhaust will not quiet down any where near as good as stock. akra does better the others are a joke.
