Pulled the trigger on a 2019 ELB Z06!
Thanks for the help on my newbie questions last week, I just couldn't resist the pull once I drove the Z06. Night and day compared to my gen6 2ss M6 vert. That M7 is so sweet, I couldn't stop grinning all the way home from the dealership. How do you guys keep her under 4k rpms for 500 miles? I'm going to have to take a little road trip to get there once the PPF, ceramic, and tint is done. Get that oil changed and really enjoy the car!

Very nice! Congrats. Wish I had some long, flat, straight roads like you do out there.
You'll be able to really open that baby up. After 500 miles of course.

Congratulations on a beautiful beast. Be patient and break it in right. The first time you get on it after the oil change make sure the front tires are straight. Otherwise you will be in for a surprise 😄. Enjoy it as it’s a very amazing ride.

Right Decision
Congratulations, you made the right decision. Beautiful color, blue is my favorite and I have an Admiral Blue 2LZ M9 '19. Best car of the ten Vettes I have owned (including C4 ZR-1, C5 and C6 Z06s and C6 ZR1). Take you time, do the break-in, get the oil changed around 500 miles (it's on GM). Have them check the diff level while getting the oil change (mine was fine BTW).
People always quickly take for granted what they have or what is available now, but we have the last and best of the FE Z06's and especially the M7 cars. I added the Level 2 rear aero and Level 3 front aero to mine, and changed out the PTB to a Mamo PTB plus installed a BMS filter. I have just about 1,500 miles on the car, and it dynoed out at 589 rear wheel when it had about 1000 miles on it. I did the PTB and BMS mainly to eliminate a little hesitancy when starting to accel, not so much for any power gains. The last of the FEs (including ZR1s of course), especially manuals, will acquit themselves well over time. And do a little research and you will see that from '17 up there were a series of notable upgrades, to include several on our '19s. These are "the good old days" right now!
BTW, car loves Sunoco GT360 lead free 100+ Octane or its VP fuels equivalent. Especially on the track or during our warmer months in North Central Florida _May-Nov. No doubt it helps push back the aggressive tendency of these cars to pull timing...
Enjoy!

I appreciate all the comments, folks, thanks!
That's how it came at delivery but I was just looking at another thread that says the same thing as you are. Guess I should call the dealer and see about it. Thanks!

Update - the PDI manager found my splitter and rockers, just have to go get them put on now and live without the car for a day. Thanks to NinjaBum for spotting that and letting me know!!
Congrats to you too, can't wait to see that LBR Z on here! I was looking at a LBR GS 2LZ or the ELB Z06 1LZ and the dealer ended up giving me the Z for the same price as the GS so I couldn't say no. LBR is beautiful in the sun but blue has always been my favorite color and the ELB reminded me of my Sonic Blue 2003 Cobra from back in the day. The color and the 200 extra ponies got me to jump on the Z06 even though it was "just" a 1LZ. After driving it for a couple days I'm super happy with it, hopefully I won't miss the heated seats in the winter though!
NineVettes, that's interesting about the PTB and filter, I was curious if the Z06 would have the same dead spot when starting out in 1st as the ZL1 does. My gen6 camaro brethren swear by Tony Mamo's PTBs to deal with the "torque management" done to us M7 guys by the computer so good info there! I haven't noticed much hesitation on mine yet but also have only driven 100 miles so far. Only 300 more miles to go before I can really start enjoying the car!

Very nice car....good luck with it. Follow the break in that is in the manual.... the better you follow it the better your car will be, and the less headaches you will have. I believe the engine Break in is the 500 miles and then you change the oil, but the rear needs more miles before hard take offs. The rear is very important to break in as failure to do so often means your need a new rear and have to break it in all over again. Enjoy the hell out of it after break in.
