I have a 2016 Z06 1LZ.
I installed Katech 100% carbon fiber side skirts (2x2 twill) that look great.
I am looking to replace the front OEM cheapo splitter with real carbon fiber to improve the appearance.
My question is this...
1. Is there someone who makes a genuine stage 1 real carbon fiber front splitter. I don't want the car to look extreme, just want to clean up the front.
2. If there is no stage 1 carbon fiber out there, does anyone have a recommendation for a "Mild" looking stage 2 in real carbon fiber.
Keep in mind IF you drive the car as designed the splitter, and side skirts to a lesser degree are consumables. IF you go off track neither the side skirts or splitter do a very good job plowing dirt/grass. I'm on my third set of side skirts and third splitter in 20k miles. As my usage makes these consumables I run the ACS pieces in primer and paint them with a rattle can. Not sure this helps if you're a cruise-in/car show guy but if you drive it with even mild aggression on the street even your splitter will be a consumable and expensive piece of trashed carbon fiber in relatively little time.
