Default New Z06 owner!

Hey everyone, I'm super excited to be part of the corvette community. I recently sold my mustang and decided i need a new weekend car.
After months of searching, I finally found a 2015 Z06 3LZ M7 long beach red. The exact spec and color i was looking for. I only had my car for a few days and i gave her a nice bath today. The paint is still in excellent condition. I do have a few question. I believe the previous owner installed a z51 spoiler but i'm not sure. I'm still debating on which spoiler to install. Stage 2 or stage 3? Also i would like to add some rock guard for protection. I found some gm oem 1's for a decent price and there's the ACS one for over 500 front and rear. I appreciated the feedback.
I attached a few pics for reference.
Steven

Beautiful looking Z!! Very nice color combo. And it looks like "Spa Day" for big red. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Looks beautiful. Turn the active rev match on and your not going to want to stop rowing through the gears. It’s addicting lol Congrats and be safe.

Simply Awesome looking Z06!!!!!!! Also that is a Z51 spoiler never seen one on a Z06. I would get the stage 2 spoiler as you have stage 2 already up front !!

Looks awesome Steven,
Here is a pic with the XL Rockguards from ACS. I took this with the flash on so you can see the Rockguards better on the black paint. They really protect the car.

Thank you all!!! It definitely put a smile on my face every time i drive it. I am taking it slowly for now as i am not comfortable with the car yet. I tried the active rev match for the very first time yesterday and WOW. Amazing! Thanks for the picture
z06 cracker. I will be looking into purchasing XL Rockguards from ACS. Next on the list will be Stage 2 or 3 spoiler, Full front Xpel plus ceramic coat for protection.

I suggest doing the roof panel while they're doing the rest as it may be cheaper when they're cutting the material. I learned how well XPEL protects the roof panel if you forget to latch it on then drive away.

The active rev match is so good when your just cruising around town. I went with the GM front and rear flaps. They're a bit small but they look good and aren't huge like the XL. But you gotta give and take some on protection. The xpel and ceramic coat will help a lot. Did both on mine as well. The stage 2 will look good especially with your current stage 2 front end. I'm in the inland empire but travel to LA a lot so maybe I'll see you around. Enjoy!

Agree with cracker on the acs XL rock guards....but you really only need the fronts in my opinion....love that color.....that is why I got it too.

Congrats on your new Z06. However, I think your color is Crystal Red as LBR wasn’t introduced until 2016.

Odd that someone put a Z51 spoiler on it... maybe they liked the cleaner look vs. the black multi-piece OEM one. I kind of like it.

I think there is nothing more bad-*** than the aero 2 or 3 spoiler. Exotic looking.

Thanks Steven! I didn't know LBR was introduced in 2016.I learned something new everything lol. I got a quote at a very reputable shop for half car xpel and full paint correction with ceramic coat on top.
I will be dropping it off next week! I can't wait.

That sounds like a good deal. I paid almost the same a couple of weeks ago. You'll enjoy the added protection of the ceramic coating and xpel. Plus the shine and ease of washing is amazing. Post pics when she's all done.
