Default MRC update on lowered Z07

CF forums memeber with the MRC update. Ive been looking for info for a few weeks on the MRC update for my 2016 z07 packaged car that is lowered all the way on stock bolts. I guess the question is if i do with my ride be worse or better. I really haven't found a straight answer. Im in the northern va area and i was going to take to KOONs in tysons this week.

Better. The update made quite a few adjustments concerning ride quality and low-speed behavior.

I picked up a CPO 2017 M7 Z06 in Nov 2018
I lowered & realigned it a month after I got it...life was good
I read MRC was a big improvement so I did it
WOW ride was "sell the car" bad :-(
I went to a different Chevy dealer who told me it was ride height sensors
So we raised it back up AND life was good again...in fact better

So now I thinking of trying to lower it again....maybe 1/2 way this time

FYI DSC recommends stock height too for their box

I think what you should do, and what i should have done as well, was get the MRC update FIRST, THEN lower the car.

I don't think anyone has done it in that order for it to be effective. I think people lower the car first, then try to get the upgrade or install the DSC controller.

I already lowered my car, not thinking about doing the upgrade first. I thought i was going to do it all at once, lowering it first, then upgrade. But then i read the threads that people didn't have good experiences. But it was already too late for me since i lowered the car first. And i'm not raising it again just for the upgrade lol.

Oh well, less than 2 years and my car is gone anyway.

my 2015 all the way down on stock bolts is still 27.5" front and 29" rear which is still in the GM height spec and way higher than my old z51. I just did the MSRC upgrade. no problems at all.

Measure from the floor to your fender lip front and rear and tell us what you get. (not the spat, the fender itself)

I think those having problems are z06 cars (non-z07). Those can get pretty damn low on stock bolts.

Did you cut a pad off the rear bolts? I'm also all the way down but exactly 1 inch higher in the rear. Are you tracking the car? Your rake is completely off.

Stock rake is about 1.5 inches taller rear to front. You're at virtually the same height rear to front. Could get some front end lift and what not
